Dan Hawkins' son is his starting qb for the next two years. To get him, I'd think the fanbase would need to be willing to put up with 2 more years of CPF.

Leavitt- i really believe he would be the best option available. i admire what hes done with south fla.

shciano- he built rutgers back up into a respectable program. yes they are down this year but he has that school on the right track.

pat hill- what do u think he would do with the talent on this roster??

Geez...

We had this whole discussion last night. You have a better chance of hiring the Pope away from the Vatican then a Mormon away from BYU.

This idea that Mendenhall, a Mormon, will walk away from BYU to move his family to the south is unrealistic. This is the most dedicated group you will find. Not to mention that the south isn't always the most tolerent place in the country.

That's the facts. When you have a prominent, southern presidential candidate insinuating that Mormons believe Jesus and Satan are brothers and was quoted in the past saying they are a cult...

the talent level is here fine and better than a lot of people think. jones, creer, moore, martin, walker, berry, vinson, rogan,
donald, poole, stocker, williams, warren, dan williams,. we have a lot of underclassmen to build around and all the freshman now.

If I am Hams, here is my short list:
Steve Sarkisian
Jim Leavitt
Greg Schiano
Charlie Strong
Wil Muschamp

Then maybe...
Butch Davis
Steve Mariucci

...Hey, anybody know what Wayne Fontes (ex Lions Coach) is doing now? lol

Couple guys I would like to see

Bret Bielema - Wisconsin
Jim Leavitt- USF
Mike Leach - Texas Tech
Bronco Mendenhall - BYU
Jon Gruden - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Romeo Crennel - Cleveland Browns
Lane Kiffin - Oakland Raiders

I'm sorry, I thought you were serious.

Lol, maybe I was pushing it

Edit: Kiffin would be great. Recruiting wise he's coached in the NFL. Gameplay wise, OC for the Trojans, dude knows how to move the ball

What's wrong with Malhzon from Tulsa, he's young, exciting offense,Tulsa set offensive records last year and this year they are averaging 50.5 points, 187.5 yards rushing, 390.5 yards passing, they have scored 21 td's in three games.

It is soooooo hard to explain. I, for one, really thought this was our year to get back to a bcs bowl, and maybe contend for the NC next year. I feel like I have been punched in the gut by the showing of this team. It is one thing to go out and give it your all and lose to a better team, like we have done in the past, but it is another thing to get embarrassed. I am EMBARRASSED by this team.

I was on the fence up until the very day that Buzz was let go. I respected his team, and him as a person, and could have been happy either way(if he was fired or kept). In hindsight, it was BY FAR the best decision for the health of the program. I was on the fence too, up until yesterday afternoon concerning the football coach. I kept thinking to myself that we were only a couple of breaks away from blowing out UCLA......Clawson is still getting the offense installed.......The defense is better........Just one of those games...............etc.....

When James returned the kickoff(we should have taken the ball 1st), I nearly fell off the fence. When Foster got the personal, and it went from 3rd and one to 3rd and 15, I JUMPED off the fence. Time for a change, nuff said, it's the right thing for the program.

And who have they played?
