I'm not the one smoking crack. You will not be able to buy Mendenhall. It won't happen. Mormons will not turn their back on a symbol of their religion like BYU. It's the ultimate dream job

They don't walk away from their lives, go on two year missions, etc... for nothing. They are the most dedicated bunch I have ever worked with. You can't 'buy them'.

I briefly dated a serious Mormon (don't ask). While quite dedicated, some of them actually do things outside of Mormonism, like Bronco.

I served with one in the Marines. He was fluent in Japanese and was obsessed with Japanimation. I found him very very odd.

The majority, if given the choice, won't. Not to mention move to the south... I spent the last year working with them. If given the choice of BYU vs. anything else, they'll stay at BYU, and the University will likely match the price to keep a Mormon as their head coach.

I like the idea of Bob Stoops but he isnt gonna leave OU and Jon Gruden would be awesome for us......thats why it wont happen

Dave Christensen - Missouri OC.

We'd be running the spread but the way he's been running it I like the idea.

He will have a HC job very soon, probably next year even. We should give him a look.

Yeah. There are tons of Mormons here. All of them end up going to BYU-Idaho or Oregon State. I wouldn't ever rule a guy like Mendenhall out.

with SEC coaches getting payed the same amount as some NFL coaches. Take a proven coach from the NFL. Dont gamble with up and comers or coaches who have had a few good years. With as much money we provide to this program, its rediculous to even compare some of these names with the likes of Meyers, and Miles. I won't contribute to Fulmers pocket next year. thats one thing i know that has already been decided. But hey... btw. Why isnt Haynesworth or Henry being honored?

Yeah can't see anyway he would leave BYU. I saw a show on him about a year ago I think on Fox sports. He said BYU was his dream job and he loved the university. If the school wants to keep him he will be there as long as Lavell Edwards was.

Butch Davis? Jim Leavitt? Greg Shiano? We need new blood...no one associated with the program in the recent past...only possible person with a tie would be Rodney Garner.

Butch Davis. He recruiting and success at people in the pros was unmatched while he was at Miami. Of course he was sitting in possibly the best geographical position there, but he has done well recruiting at UNC too. He has had to recruit nationally and done so beating us out on few like Marvin Austin. He took over a program in the toilets in 2007 and you can already see the on field improvement in their play. They soon be an annual contender to win the ACC if he remains there. I think he best meets what we need and is actually attainable if we go after him

Hamilton is scared to fire his best friend you have to put that a side and do what's best for the team and that is letting Fulmer go or getting him to retire/resign something.

Jon Gruden will not be the next head coach at Tennessee we can just put that to bed.

Butch can recruit and will do wonderful things for UNC if he stays there he would be a nice fit for us. I don't see Bob Stoops leaving OU to come coach here. I don't know if I want Lane Kiffin we need a coach kinda like Meyer.
