Because watching all these faxes roll in will be amazing. Tennessee has been one of the hot topics of recruiting this year.

Don't get me wrong I'm excited about it, i just don't get it from ESPNs perspective. If we aren't in on some big players and there won't be announcements for us I have a hard time understanding. My hope is that they know something we don't and we get a surprise or a flip

ESPN is hoping we get burned on NSD with a lot of last second flips, and they want to be there to cover it live.

ESPN hates us...with a passion that has no boundaries.:yikes:

The ESPN pub on NSD being set up at UT will be priceless IMO. Just about every 2015/2016 recruit will be watching all day. Tennessee, Tennessee, Tennessee all day long as the faxes come across. Highlight vids of some absolute stars showing all day and the star of the videos are new VFLs. Butch and company doing interviews and selling everything that makes UT the place to be. IMO, it will be an ideal NSD and I hope they are like this for years to come. In years past we HOPED to get the big fish on NSD. Now the big fish was reeled in 7 months ago and has been recruiting future teammates ever since. I like it this way a lot more.

Agreed. It's nice not having to hope and pray that every single bounce goes our way just so we can have a good class. Watching these faxes come in and this elite class officially come together will be extremely satisfying.

Sounds about right except for Adoree because he's off the board. Not in his final four. Hope we get Sawyers and keep Thomas. Regardless, I think we will finish no lower than 7th.

Looking forward to watching all the faxes come in. I'm getting up a lot earlier than I normally just to do this. Plus watching the ESPN all access will be fun to.:rock:

Lose Thomas and I'd like to see the staff push for Emmanuel Smith or Chris Lammons. Lammons looks to be about to sign with WI. IMO he would jump at a chance at UT vs moving to Madison.

Yeah, I knew we were not in his final group. I'm pretty sure we would be had the UT staff pushed for him. I think we filled up and really did not have room when he committed to uf, then opened it back up.

How many recruits are going to announce on NSD? I'd say damn few. Most have already committed. Oh, I guess there'll be a few flips here and there, but this day and age I doubt there's many real surprises.

The coverage is for the teams that have a good signing class in hand.

Recruiting is changing. I think there are only 16-17 kids who are in the Rivals top 100 who have yet to decide. As you mentioned there could be some flip flop, but kids are committing earlier and I think it makes for a better class overall.

I love that it's happening and I agree that it is huge for UT, to get our name out there even more. I think CBJ continues to show his PR smarts. I'm sorry still stuck on the espn side. I would understand if our class wasn't full and we had several left on the board but our class it's pretty much sealed. But i appreciate the input from everyone. And with us eliminated from adoree sweepstakes I don't see us getting much news on NSD.

I have to hope that CBJ has something instore for us

theres really only michael sawyers at 50% and adoree at less than 10%, yes i think were still in play. i think he is either USC or shocks the world.

It comes down to our 4/5 star players we recruited this season vs Bubba's 4/5 star players they recruited last year or the year before.
Plus with Bubba's annual easy schedule....and there depth.....MANY of those 5 star players never see many hard/meaningful gametime reps.
Our recruits get reps/experience per schedule from hell and lack of depth

That's pretty weak. Sure, the UT players may jump right in and start playing and UA players may sit for a year. The only thing is, the UA players are still practicing against much better players every single day. Just be glad these guys are coming in and hopefully UT has the same "problem" as UA in a few years.
