The transformation was incredible, who did this? I suspect Chaney, because if Reeves did this he would have been re hired by now.

Let's just look at what's out there. Chaney praised Crompton for coming in and putting in the time watching film with him in order to get better! Kiffin tried to take credit for it, but no one gave Reaves credit. Reaves couldn't even get a spot on Kiffin's staff at USC. He still hasn't gotten a call from Kiffin to say they left! This dude, could have taken a month long hike through the appalachian mountains with a satellite phone and he still wouldn't have gotten a call. Does that sound like someone who's respected by his own brother-in-law?

I suspect that Lame Kitten took over the development of Crompdaddy after Reeves could not get the job done. This was the rub that resulted in Reeves being left out on the road recruiting when the kitten mob skedaddled to the left coast.

Actually it wasn't real QB development, they just had Crompdaddy read half of the field during his progressions.

If I had to make an honest guess I would have to choose Chaney. But I do find it funny that before his departure, most of the board were all but calling Kiffin a god for the Crompton turn around. Now we don't want to give him credit for squat. :)

easily chaney. Did you see that kind of transformation at USCjr with their horrible Qb_s? And they've even got spurrier there as a knowledgable offensive mind

I was there everyday and I would say Kiffin. He would be in the QB meetings as well as on the field with the QB's. I did not see Chaney work with the QB's once on the field but I am unsure on how much he put in with them off of the field.

It really wasn't a development.X and Chaney just took away some of the responsibility that Crompton had in the Second half of the Auburn game.So they only gave him the Audible were he would check down to the Receiver if the CB was playing off.

I am going to say to Kiffin was the one responsible for this due to the support he offered Crompton and the fact he constantly took the blaim for Crompdaddy's mistakes. Kiffin got in his head and got him to play like a Quarterback.....I hate it that he has to get it, but it is what it is.
