Who Is Your Most Hated Team In The N.F.L.?

My brother-in-law lives in Nashville, had Vol season tickets for over a decade, and gave them up in the early 2000s (when UT was still pretty good) after the Oilers moved to Nashville because it was too much to do both every weekend. He gave it a go for a couple of years but eventually he cut the UT tickets loose. He can't be the only one. It's not the biggest factor, obviously, but when you're trying to fill not 90,000 seats like UGA but 100,000+ it's probably not irrelevant.

You are kidding yourself if you don't see we lost fans that would come to Vol games from middle Tennessee that now spend their money on the Titans.

I'm sorry dude, but UT is a big enough school and Tennessee is a big enough state that this is not an excuse for either one having a poor turnout. It is due to pure suckage on the field and nothing more.

If freaking Amish Country USA (AKA Western/Middle Pennsylvania) can support both Penn State and the Steelers as rabidly as they do, then there's no reason Tennesseans cannot provide more than adequate support for the Titans and Vols. As of right now, however, I really don't blame our state's residents for being disinterested in either.

But in response to the OP, I'd have to say the Steelers. Their bandwagon fans rival those of Bama's, and They. Are. Everywhere!! No matter what city, no matter what stadium, hell, no matter WHO'S PLAYING, you can bet you will see at least a few Steeler shirts/jerseys, or a few of those annoying little towels flying!

I would've said the Colts, but between Manning and Luck, I've become so numb to losing to them that it's almost like they don't exist anymore.

the Ravens, from the way their ownership screwed the city of Cleveland to the stupid yoga pants the team wore in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. There is nothing about this organization that I like.

Jags. But they're irrelevant, so not a lot of hate. Don't really like the expansion franchises or when teams move. Don't like the Rams being in St Louis or the Cards in Arizona. Ravens blew up the Browns and Indy blew up the Colts.

I'm a fan of the original AFL franchises. I liked the Houston Oilers more than the Titans, but I'd be a TT band wagon fan when they're not horrible.

Curious: why Jacksonville? Was it just because of the don't like expansion teams? (In which case, do you also dislike Carolina, Houston, and the new Cleveland team?)

Definitely the Patriots. I loathe that team. Sure, I respect Tom Brady as a QB. He is no doubt one of the greatest to play in the NFL. But I can't help but want to punch the dude/bro expression off his smug face every time I see it. Then there's the Darklord Belichick. That's a whole new realm of pure hate. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaate........

It may be a "new" team in Cleveland, but they retained all of the Browns' history. Unfortunately, the new team sucks just as much as the old one.

I'm aware. It's the only NFL team where the history stayed with the city rather than the franchise...mainly because of just how messy of a move it was.

I just wanted to know/better understand his reasoning.

In professional sports, my most hated teams differ from year to year. Personnel has a lot to do with it. For instance, I liked the Seahawks until they hired Pete Carroll. Them having Sherman pretty much seals the deal on my most hated for a few years.

Packers because of their talent.

Lions because their fans are delusional. Lions fans believe that every year they are going to win the Superbowl. Pretty sure during the only 0-16 season ever in the NFL, Lions fans probably still thought they were going to win the Superbowl.

This might be the silliest thing I've ever seen.

I don't know any Lions fan that is actually positive about their chances year to year.

The Bears

1) They have an inferiority complex

2) They actually think they are a premier NFL team when never move the needle

3) They bring up a team 30 years ago and never shut up about it.

At least the Packers can back their **** up. The Vikings know who they are. We Lions know we routinely suck. The Bears think they're God's gift when they aren't even a top ten NFL franchise.

There are plenty that I work with that are all this way. Got a buddy like that too.

Hey! The 85 Bears were awesome! I will admit we have had more than our fair share of troubles. It doesn't look like it will get better for us soon (Cutler). I'll even concede the fact that I know we won't make the post season this coming year.

If it makes you feel better there is no way we make the playoffs this year.

I've shared my feelings on the Atlanta Falcons many times on here, so I won't go into it again. Basically, they are the dirt-worst!
