For me, it's undeniably Angelina Jolie. And, no, it's not because she's absolutely stunning. It's because she's an amazing humanitarian, a rarity among fashion and looks-obsessed celebs. She's a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR and frequently travels to war zones (without special guards) and gets in the nitty gritty of refugee crisis issues. As soon as I pay off my law school loans, I am going in the same direction. What a woman!

I look to a lot of people for inspiration..........

I dunno, but these two are probably the two highest........

1.) Robert E. Lee (Specifically his Washington University days. Now Washington and Lee University.)

2.) Lewis "Chesty" Puller

ksush, if Angelina Jolie is your hero, do you kiss your brother?

her personal life is her personal life. i don't care about that. what she's doing for refugees in the world overshadows any personal shortcomings. there are bigger things in the world to care about, kiddo. one day you'll see it too.

and, fwiw, i don't have a brother, but in my culture it is acceptable to kiss family members on the lips.

I say you don't have to live like a refugee (you don't have to live like a refujay)

Based on her posting of the last couple of days, it seems that Finevol is her hero. :)

But seriously, a hero is anybody that does what needs to be done and does it with dignity. Takes care of his or her family, works hard, has respect for others and takes pride in the accomplishments of those he or she cares for. A true hero never gets his name in the paper but does more than the one that does. Heroes will give their all for something or someone they care about. Die for that if necessary. And never think twice about it while doing it.

Open mouth tongue wrestling with your brother is only acceptable in Alabama. I'm sorry to pass that along to you.

That may be true, but to the best of anyone's knowledge Angie has never done that. She got some flack for kissing her brother on the lips (for what some people deemed a little too long) at the Oscars. Big deal!

The vial of blood she wore as a necklace was a lil out there as well.
