Kansas is correct, JWF; in Memphis at the Liberty Bowl stadium. My friend, Larry Harris and I were there. Kansas had a really good All-American candidate at QB ( can't remember his name) and some top-notch receivers, but, the Vols, thanks to Eddie Brown playing lights out, prevailed in a close one, as I recall.
Naw, Grizz. She was #2. Lasted a whoppin' 3 yrs. It took me 3 times, but I hit the lottery in 1977. She's still drop-dead gorgeous, is a gourmet cook, and can out-work any man I know, myself included. What she sees in this crusty old Scots-Irishman, I quit asking a long time ago, my friend. Best thing to ever happen to me. I thank God every day that she's in my life AND she would fight a buzz-saw goin' both ways for the Vols.
I personally liked Terry Fair...I remember he had a couple of long TD returns in '96...The one against Arkansas was one of the best I can remember...I have an "old school" friend who says Bobby Majors, hands down...I can't remember that far back..lol...Since we suck at punt returns this year, figured I would try to dredge up memories of better times....![]()
