I don't think anyone really loved UT like Fulmer....he just grew too comfortable towards the end. Can't remember the last coach that was carried off the field in his last game after being fired.

I picked Majors because I prefer a coach that actually built a championship program vs one that destroyed a championship program.

I didn't think that Doolittle had the time to peruse this board with his coaching duties and all, but I guess he did because he had to vote for himself!

LOL. Fair enough. I was friends with a few of the players at the time. Kelly Zieglar and Davy Johnson drank beer and played darts w/ me at the End Zone, regularly. Zig was wayy cool. Cobb would peek in from time to time. Good times..:)

the bigger question should be why isnt coach Jones included in this poll. with everything he is doing trying to make it a more comfortable place for the older players to return and making it a fresh and exciting place for new players I got to go with Coach Jones.

They are great. The male is "all boy" so we have to watch him around stangers; the female is a doll. Pits get a bad rap; they were the "family dog" at turn of century. Think RC Victrola dog and Little Rascals dog...both were pits. That said don't threaten me or mine. Only time female showed aggression was when someone "waved" a stick at one of us saying hello. She made it clear the wise choice would be to come no nearer. The male can be protective too. But before someone jumps on pits, the boxer has stepped in at least three times when she thought a family member was threatened....and one of those times it was VERY good she was there. Nice to have around kids. Can check out at East Tennessee Pit Bull Rescue.

Butch baby. How can you put Drools and the baby and not Butch. He is absolutely killing it on the recruiting trail. People can cry all they want this year, but the fact is that we have no OL/DL . Future is bright with our current HC. #3 class right now.

Maybe one of the mods can remove two of the lesser known coaches I have listed and replace them with jones and Chaney

How can anyone not respond Dooly. The fact that he was an absolute wealth of disinformation, he gave us the golden dog, the bar stool coach, some WWII reference that went way over my head and he was a terrible recruiter and coach doesn't matter. He did rock some great orange pants and for this reason he stands alone on top of this list. Granted, he stands alone because no one wants to be seen with him but he stands alone none the less. Close second was kiffin, because lets face it, his wife was hot!!!!!
