Who is UT's biggest Rival?

He was riding a Roller Coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, (10 minutes from my house btw) when a bird flew up and hit him in the face, disfiguring him!

Exactly. UF is the more important game, but Bama is our biggest rival by far.

I think this is a good way to try to describe the difference but I don t think it works. In other words, how can our most important (annual) game not also be our biggest rival?

The only answer would relegate, imo, "rivalry" to something kinda silly- you know, like calling Vandy and Kentucky "rivalries." I don't consider them rivalries.

exactly. the sad truth is that a big portion of our fanbase thinks of bama as an after thought of a rivalry, like kentucky, while bama fans look forward to this game all year.

I used to live in alabama... and I hate it with a passion. I'm sure you can imagine the stories I have as a Tennessee fan living in that forsaken wasteland. I hate florida just as much.

Hands down it is Bama. As much as I hate to say it, I hope the Gators stick it to them in the SEC championship. If Bama wins I cannot fathom that they have a chance to win a national championship. It is too much to handle. The Bammers still pride themselves on the 12 they have. They would go insane and talk about a recently won n.c. title for the next 15 years. Atleast Gator fans have more composure about it.

I think for most of the young fans like myself it's Florida. We beat Bama like they were Kentucky for most of my childhood.
