We have a higher recruiting ranking with the guys he brought in this last two weeks than we had with the group Martin spent an entire year getting. He is also evening up the classes look for two JUCOS to join Hubbs in the junior class next season.

Some of you guys are bipolar. When the defections start, you go crazy thinking the hire was a total bust. Now that he has commitments, he's the second coming of Red Auerbach. Take it easy--let's see how it plays out. These recruits may not be good--they may be fantastic--there may be a little of both. Let's just wait and see and enjoy the process.

The way I see it. No one was beating down the door to sign with our previous coach to remain nameless. So I'm starting to wonder if he was not the best salesman. Yes its late in the game for Coach D. But he is closing the deal with the guys he is bringing in. Wish we could have got Cover. But other than him. I'm loving this group of Misfits.

Misfits? Have you taken the time to check out some video yet? Or are you just making these assumptions blindly? I have seen just a little film of a couple of the guards (Punter & Mostella to be specific), and I think the two of them have the potential to be game changers. I haven't dug around for film on the others yet, but I am sure the coaches have. Granted, Coach T & Co. have their work cut out for them in getting a bunch of strangers to work together with each other and the returning guys. Plus, the returning guys have to learn a whole new system of play.

This lineup may not be able to win the number of game we hope for. However. for all those who felt bored by last years performance, these guys will still be fun to watch. Donnie Tyndall and his staff are recruiting for this season with a lot of the odds stacked against them. If they can coach as well as they can scramble for recruits, it is going to be a fun season. And maybe, just maybe, the misfits will be a good fit. Though I am sure some of us will stay true to form, and throw fits.

I just love the way most UT fans want to piss on their on roses before they start to bloom.

Not most. Just a very vocal minority. But don't tell them that. They have the delusion that they are the majority. And they can't handle the truth.

(And now, someone will add a Jack Nicholson gif)

What will be really interesting is to see how this talent from all these different places meshes into one team. I love the fact that we have two really good high energy defensive guys who will give it all out on the court in Richardson and Moore. This is the kind of team it would be so fun to have "all access" to get an inside look at from the first few practices and then see where they are by the beginning of the SEC schedule in Jan. Should be fun to watch no matter what.

Yu'uns is all that I heard from my inlaws in Eastern Kentucky(around Hazard). I never heard y'all.

You'ens isn't new - it's just part of the dialect of East Tennesseans, which is much closer to that of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, etc than it is to the y'all-saying Deep South. Most of our ancestors came from those northern states. Some, for example, were offered land here in lieu of pay when they fought in the War of 1812.

Another example: There's an east-west line through central Pennsylvania. South of that line, you call it a bucket; north of that line, you call it a pail.
