Stop leaning on his reputation and watch Berry highlights over the last half of the season. He has been quite average lately. Focus on him when he is on special teams. He is atrocious on special teams coverage, at times.

You must have the wrong tape 'cause that's one of the dumbest statements ever posted on VN -- and with the limited mental capacity of so many posters here, that's saying a lot.

This is a prime example of why some people should stay off the interwebs.

Agreed. I would say Berry's play hasn't been up to his usual level but I don't think the kid has been average or certainly not below average a day in his life.

His role is just as impactful. Monte has put him in great positions to make plays. With our limited depth on DEF, wouldn't you say he is going to have to play a different role?

Yes, Monte will definitely be headed down to FL imo to see Elam and Luc. It looks like Orgeron is actually going to be in TN and GA next week while Cregg will be in Cali...

Vader do you see this staff landing a few big time players now that they have more time to visit and etc. Iam excited about these in house visits feel like we could really finish strong..

IMO I think we already know most of the prospects the coaches are going after. I really don't think we will have too many suprises like we saw last year, simply because the staff has been here working these kids all year. It isn't like they are coming in brand new like last year trying to get their own prospects. I think we may end up with one suprise or so, but for the most part I think everyone here knows who the coaches are recruiting the hardest and who most likely will end up here. Volnation is the best free site for recruiting and many posters here bring a lot of great insight. If it was any other site, I would say we have a ton of suprises to look forward to, but with the knowledge and sources some of these posters bring I find that highly unlikely. I personally want to thank all the posters who bring the great info here and thank Volfreak for making this site the best free recruiting site on the web.

With the available schollys and the ones we will have decommit. Some of our DTs are said to be having qualifying issues.

I agree but don't be surprised if they full court press some really high name guys to try to get visits.... I have no information and this is JMO, but I would see them pressing guys like White, Seastrunk, Dyer, Nelson, UKO ect to visit this winter. Mainly really highly named guys. Or maybe even going after guys have on our board that chose someone else... Blake Bell (if bob stoops leaves), Kyle Prater, Hurst, ect... going to be an exciting last couple months of recruiting season...
