alright guys we finished 7-5 were going to a bowl. WHO IS THE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.

for me i had to go with hardesty. Berry had another great year and i know how important he is for our defense, and i know teams won't throw his way but i feel like hardesty had a better year. 1300 yds, 5.0 yds a carry 12 rushing TD. Add in another 20 catches for over 200 yds and a receiving TD, its kinda hard to argue against that. Crompton was close as well(it's so funny to even think that) but his play early in the year cost us a few games. Walker, and dan williams had great years as well on defense. Can't wait till next year. I think Bryce is gonna break out and be the back we all know he can be.

The fact that the mere presence of Berry caused dropped passes and a complete lack of offensive production in his area, I have to go with him.

Hardesty and Crompton make very strong cases though.

Crompton. Wow, he was definitely the man this year. without him we would have been a different team.

I am also giving him a lot of weight because of his heart, strength, and perseverance.

You have to go with Hardest here, he's been an absolute beast all season. Even during the first half of the season when Crompton was playing terrible and opposing defenses were just loading up the box to essentially force us to throw the ball he was still able to get his yards. He's been fantastic. I think you have to credit the offensive line as well for overachieving.

Crompton post-turnaround is up there.

Have to say Crompton has had a remarkable 2nd half of hisseason but my vote goes to Hardesty becauseCrompton has to thank Hardesty to his greatseason because of his strong running it opened up the play action passing attack and the bootlegs passing attacks! I just can't wait to see how good our offense is next season! Giving alot of these great offense & defensive players to get another seaon of the Kiffins under there belt to get used to the new ways they coach I think Tenn. Will be back in the top of the SEC! This off season will seam even longer than normal! I was uncertain how CLK would be but I'm abeliever

Hardesty is my first pick. Just with his presence in the backfield it set up the good play action game we saw this year, not to mention the heart and tenacity is runs with. And would have to put JC has the most-improved player on the team and the SEC.

I know Crompton made a great season turnaround, but Hardesty also made a turnaround from past seasons of injury and non-production. He made Tennessee's offense and should get the nod!

Crompton overcame too much adversity, kept his head on straight and proved most fans really haven't got a clue.

I wouldn't have a problem with Co~MVPs with Hardesty.

I have to go with Crompton. He took so much negativity from our fan base, the media, our opponents fans/media and he never gave up. Alot of people would have folded under that kind of adversity, but JC continued to go to work and in the end has become a pretty darn good SEC quaterback. Montario had an outstanding year, but Player of The Year has to go to Crompton

I had to give it to Hardesty. Getting all those rushing yards without a single fumble rushing is phenomenal, especially after running behind fumble fingers last year. Before I get blasted: I know he had one fumble, but that was a pass play. There really should be an overachiever of the year award for our made-from-scratch offensive line that made it possible for him to gain a bunch of those yards and protected Crompton as well as they did, though.

Our D was completely designed around E. Berry. Without him in the lineup, who knows what would have been. I like Hardesty next, his production, lack of turnovers, and physical running style allowed the O-line to gel. Crompton had a remarkable turnaround, but he costs UT games early on in the season. Dan Williams came out of nowhere to shut down the middle of the line.

Eric Berry was the team's leader and should be MVP!

Based on pure field performance for the 12 games played this year, it's Hardesty.

Based on determination to perform well, it's Crompton.

Overall team contribution, Nick Reviez.

Best All Round VOL....Eric Berry.

Hardesty, without a doubt.

Stocker had a heck of a year, and I would have liked to have seen him in the poll.

Kevin Cooper was kind of an unsung hero.

But Hardesty should take it in a landslide for a consistent effort and production that really didn't change from game to game.

Hardesty...
And I'll go out on a limb to say if D. Moore had been healthy all season he would have been close...and that is just my opinion

Hardesty, he was our rock on offense.

Major props to Crompdaddy, but the overall body of work leans to Hardesty.

Crompton would be my "most improved," or "comeback" player of the year.

Hardesty, the kid is a workhouse. Im so glad he finally got through an entire season healthy. This has been his potential ever since he stepped foot on campus. He has quickly turned into my favorite player on the offensive side of the ball. I will really miss seeing him run hard & never given up. The kid has heart, the 1st defender rarley tackles him & he never fumbled this year.

You can make a case for Crompton but Hardesty was just a BEAST from the 1st game to the very last game.
