I certainly don't have any inside info about practice. If you believe Cutcliff's statement referring to Ainge's pinky and shoulder problems as a reason they didn't go down the field more often, I think it's fair to pose the question. If you have a QB like Crompton waiting in the wings, does he give you a better chance to win the game as opposed to putting an injured QB out there that limits your game plan? Everyone talks about Crompton being a warrior and all, with a good arm. Why is he riding the pine when the starter is hurt? I think you can draw some conclusions from that, the coaches at the time thought Ainge playing hurt gave them a better chance to win at the time than the other QB's on the roster. It is but only one conclusion.:dunno:
it won't stop after spring game.
You listed Nick before BJ.... controversy monger.Oh I know that... I was just choosing a cut off point and I thought the beginning of the regular season was too far off...
If I had to guess with that as the guidelibe then my number would go up to 100+...
You know there will be a ton of them after spring practice is over and we have some actual performances to evaluate instead of just a few games from Crompton and a whole lot of speculation about Stephens and Coleman
The reason Tennessee didn't go down the feild in that was Cutcliff's offense and if you saw the passes Ainge threw down feild they probably didn't have the confidence he could throw down field on a regular basis with accuracy, but he was considered their golden boy. As far as everybody wondering if Crompton can pick up the system who says Coleman can.
Am I missing something here?
Have we ever had a QB that you have liked? Peyton-No, Ainge-No.
