I agree...but they will not get Gruden...once you have success in the NFL they usually never come back to college...money, money, money..

I will agree with you that the money will play a very important part, however if you look at current NFL coaches salaries then I believe Tennessee will offer a very comparable salary. Also I just don't see him moving his family unless its a place they would be excited about. Remember he has a very good job now that plays well and family is established in Tampa.

As you all know...tennessee cannot afford to get into a bidding war to get a top shelf coach...unfortunately......

What we can't afford are empty seats on game day. I know some people keep bringing up that Tennessee doesn't have the money but that is not the case.

Gruden would be a superstar on the recruiting trail just because of who he is. Superbowl winning coach with a great personality. All high school players, especially QBs know who he is. Anyone that thinks he won't be able to recruit must be a gator fan.
