If people thought our football hiring looked like a cluster, wait until we have to make a basketball one. UT basketball is not high up on many people's list.

Never underestimate the incompetence of this Athletic Department and my alma mater. Unless and until we rid ourselves of the Jimmy Cheeks of the world anything is possible. It makes me sick but I would not be surprised to see the "Whisperer" on the bench trying to coach next year. Our school does not want to win settles for losers.

Okay... People need to realize that their is a possiblity of Bruce coming back and chances are growing each day. All those who say we have a dumb AD dept is just out if their mind. Hart is a ton better than Hamilton and he knows a change has to be made and it will be made if Martin does not make it to the NCAA tourney this I have been told and Rob Lewis has come on the radio and said the same thing.

As for coaches... Their is interest in the UT camp for Gregg Marshall at Wichy St. Look for Hart to make a run at him when a change is made. Also Bruce will be talked to as well. I would love to see either one here as I think they would bring UT back yo a relevant program again.

Not saying I doubt you, because I hope you're right, but weren't you adamant Charles Mosley wouldn't be a Vol?

you really think Barbee is HC material - Pastnor is the guy Calipari groomed to take over Memphis not Barbee -- Barbee was a former player that needed a job and Cal was nice enough to hire him

Yes I was and will be a man and own up to that as I got misinformation but flame away if you would like. I am not saying the people that I talked to arent wrong and they were in this instance. I hope they are right too. Would love to either one of them on the sidelines

This coaching search could be really quick but I dont look for it to be a drawn out search. I think that list is already narrowed and Hart has his list he wants and will start sending out fillers if Marting does not make the NCAA. He has made 2 solid hires in bbal in Hamilton and Grant and I expect nothing less than a solid hire in this search

Grant has been awful and Bama will be looking for a new HC at season's end.
