Dang you old! Lucky dog, I mean Vol.

Hey - I'm not old. That game has a special place in my heart and I have not missed one since I was in college.

I enjoy the game in Tuscaloser much more than the games in B-ham. It has a better feel, more like a college atmosphere and less like a ghetto dump.

as a vol fan i have been treated like crap at t town especially when the fulmer situation was going down. it's funny...i don't remember it being that way at legion field. i guess a hand full of classless fans makes a complete bad experience.

The University Blvd strip will be the primary location for that (right off campus, near stadium, can't miss it) - The Houndstooth a good choice but wil be packed. And there are a few new clubs dowtown a block or two off University Blvd.

In the past few years, there has been a block party on the Strip with the streets blocked off and the open container law suspended - not sure if that's planned this year or not but was always a lot of fun.

Section 427... end of the row(yay).

Last time I was down there, I think I sat in the last seat in the stadium, to my right was nothing but a low wall and a long fall.

If we get beat, expect to be harassed going back down the ramps. The drunks like to line up there and pretty much be dicks.

Anybody know bout scalpin in T town?

There should be plenty of scalpin' around the stadium - can't help you much on prices though. One piece of advice i do have is that if you are driving in on Saturday, do NOT take 459 around Birmingham - take I-59 straight thru town. Before 459 merges back in to 59 south, it narrows up to one lane and can back up for a while on big game days from all of the south Bham area fans.

I'm heading down on Thursday for some golf and R&R with a client in Birmingham, who is a big bama fan, but I'll have to put up with it, so he stays a client! We'll hit some clubs in Birmingham on Thursday night, then head over to Tuscaloosa Saturday to scope out the ladies on Friday night at the local clubs! Then, I'll be joining him and his group for some hard tailgating on Saturday, with tons of "liquid refreshments."
