Who here has famous family lineage?

My family on my mom's side is linked back to family in this castle, which the name of this castle also happens to be my middle name. So yes, I'm royalty.:)

:pardon:

Did you get an invitation to the royal wedding?

My Great-great Grandfather built this gate house for his castle. . .in Cleveland, Ohio. Unfortunately, he never built the actual castle, but we were oil barons at one time, you know American Royalty!:whistling:

I just started looking into family history, so I don't have real famous people yet; however....

My grandmother is 1st cousins to Phil Fulmer. Met the guy once about 3 years ago at a reunion. Seemed like a jerk.

FTR, I am Pro-CDD. There that should cover it.

Word. I know like 10 people who claim General Rob Lee. Homeboy must've been a player.

As for me my 'claim to fame' is Mrs Harriet Beecher Stowe. "The little lady who started the Civil War" - Honest Abe. She's my great, whatever, Aunt. Our family apparently donated the original transcripts of the book Uncle Tom's Cabin to a museum. Cool stuff!

And furthermore, back in the day, her brothers and father we even more famous than she. They were traveling preachers, very much like celebrities of the olden days, and they were also, supposedly, responsible for bringing Protestantism to the mainstream. Go Beecher family!

Hold up!
