Tennessee by a mile. Saban is getting way too much credit.
I agree that Bama fans think hes the next Bear, but don't you think they have a right to be excited? All he did was win a National Championship back in 03. He will improve their program, and there is no way you can deny that.

How many coaches are able to rebuild two programs(muchless two SEC programs) to competitive levels? Asking or expecting Saban to catch lightning in a bottle again is highly unrealistic.

So your saying they can't rebuild themselves? They can definently rebuild themselves. I see no reason why Saban can't rebuild them. Thats why they hired him. Sure I hate Bama, but I am being realistic about their chances to improve as a program.

How much rebuilding do you think we need?

Tesla, you haven't done much research on Alabama for 2007, have you? They're going to battle for the West division. They had a ton of young talent in 2006, were the 4th best team statistically, and have a coaching staff, from Saban alllllll the way down, that will make that team more disciplined.

The two reasons Alabama lost 6 SEC games were: a poor OL showing and bad luck. Both of those will be 180s.

LSU or Arkansas is going to win the West

LSU's defense will be great and Arkansas still has McFadden and Jones

LSU or Arkansas id going to win the West

LSU and Alabama are the only two teams who have a legit shot at the West. I've spent more time on Alabama this offseason than any other team, besides Tennessee.

Arkansas and Auburn will fight for 3rd and 4th, most likely.

Oh, so now we can credit bad luck? But seems like some of us want to give Fulmer a hard time for having bad luck in 2005. What is the difference?
