Probably need to see the final draw to decide, right? But right now of the SEC teams I think Kentucky is in the worst shape, UT in the best. If Florida can beat Kentucky this weekend and win at least two in the SEC tourney, they may be back in the driver's seat.

LG, my avatar bet is still on the table. IF Florida makes it to the elite eight, I will put Honkytonk Man on the self for a month for the avatar of your choice. Will you reciprocate?

This Florida team is good, but Billy D is very "outcoachable."

Let's go with this. Whoever's team gets furthest, the other guy switches his avatar to the choice of the winner. If they end up losing in same round (regardless of day or time of day), its a wash and no one switches up.

Allow me to consider your counter offer. I will get back with you.

yep. the tournament will have alot to do with how many rounds deep into the ncaa tournament each team will go. if florida can get their momentum back and pull off a big win or 2 in the sec tournament, i can see them advancing a whole lot in the big dance. the same goes for ut. kentucky, however, is a different story. something just seems amiss in lexington this year.

I just don't want to play Winthrop again. I wanna play Airforce or Notre Dame, or I'll even take East Tennessee State (who is pretty good by the way)

I truly believe that if the Gators can remove their head from their @$$#$, they can go all the way.

I believe you had a similar rough patch around this time last year following a 17 game win streak.

I don't remember it being three games each by ten or more points and looking like total crap doing it.

But I digress (as usual).

But you guys do have experience going into the tourney...

That's true. And that can be very valuable.

I guess its just that there is a fine line between taking advantage of your experience versus being bored because you've already lived through it and conquered all. At some point, its human nature to want to move on to the next challenge. And when you are 20 years old, its pretty much all about the next challenge, isn't it?

I hate to say you're wrong.. But, after that three game skid last year, they won ELEVEN on their way to a championship.. Not 17.. They started out the year 17-0, but they did not finish it with another seventeen game win streak..

I never said they did win 17 more straight.

I thought I said following a 17 game win streak, not a 17 game win streak followed.

And by the way, I believe with the start of this year, it did reach 17 anyways.

I'm pretty sure Florida has 3 17 game win streaks in the past 2 years.

That means nothing, they only have one title to show for it. This Florida team will not win it all this year.. It's also not looking good for them next year either.. They lose almost all of their starting five this year,(depends on what Green does) as well as Richard, who is a big spark off the bench..

You make it sound like one national championship in 2 years is a bad thing.

No, but they havn't been as dominant as you seem to suggest.. They have lacked drive and focus the last two weeks that a repeating championship quality team tends to have.. I don't see them recovering over the next month. We'll see..
