Our football team or our basketball team?

I think our football team will finish higher in the sec next year.

We just do not have anyone except Stokes and Maymon that are SEC quality basketball players.

We do not have any schollies left in Basketball and no point guard in sight.

I would say the basketball team ... in basketball one player can make a difference. If Stokes lives up to his potential the basketball team can finish in the top 3 in the SEC. The football team still has a hill to climb to pass Georgia, LSU, Arkansas, and Alabama.

Football. We don't have to play Ark and LSU. But I do think both teams will be much better next year.

Basketball will finish 4th IMO.

Football, I could see anywhere from two to five.

The way Missouri played in basketball tonight, I would say that they are a concern in the S.E.C. next season.
Kentucky, Florida, Missouri, possibly Vandy will be good in basketball next season.
Vandy is good when they have a senior laden team, but I am not sure what their roster will look like next season.

Both teams will win the east division. Both will see post season play.
Cal's one and done frosh teams will finally be his undoing, while Martin's defense minded teams will just stifle opponents game after game. The football team we see this fall will be a hungry, even angry team, and dare I say it? Physically stronger. In the XX, YY, and ZZ sections of Neyland you will clearly hear popping pads when they hit people.

Tentative prediction: If Da'Rick shuts his mouth instead of jawing with opponents after a catch and simply plays with a controlled working man's anger, I pity opposing secondary who must tackle him. You saw how people bounced off him (Cincy, Fla, Ga.) when meeting him head on. If he does this, he will score a lot as some secondary players will not want to tackle him from the fore. I'm not just talking smack here, it's what I believe I saw signs of happening if he gets an attitude of letting his play do the talking.

Mizzou is very senior heavy this year, but they will get Lawrence Bowers back next year. Mike Anderson did not recruit well his last year because he knew he was leaving

Football...wins the east

Basketball needs to find a true point guard and more height to go with Stokes.

The table is all set for Coach Dooley. Coach Martin is still searching for a couple of pieces of the puzzle.

Georgia would have to absolutely choke to not win the East again.

Two five letter words...choke...and....Richt

Watch and see. He has a certain pattern to his history. He has never been able to build on success. Somehow, someway, they will take a step back again this year. Maybe he is just a church going fine christian man who feels sorry for the others. I don't know. But Georgia will mess around and let one of the others sneak by them...(even with an easy schedule)
