I think the idea sounds awesome and it's clearly more of a rivalry then Kentucky . Not to mention both teams recruit the other state pretty hard .

It would be cool to play them every other year home and away and 3rd game at Bristol or every year in Blacksburg or Knoxville and third year in Bristol.

I think it would be better for a Clemson/GA type frequency - a home-and-home once a decade or so.

VA Tech
GT
Clemson
UNC

That would be pretty cool 4 team/ 8 year rotation vs teams in key recruiting grounds.

No. I would rather have more variety instead of tying up our schedule with the same teams all the time. We have plenty of "rivals".

I would love a 6 game conference schedule and the others be 3 cupcakes like now and 3 P5 home and homes from across the nation. VT would fall into that last group.

It's a pipe dream, but since VN is free and all, I won't charge y'all for my valuable opinions. :p

I'd say every four years...otherwise it's watered down and not feasible.

Couldn't do it every year, VT would get mad having an automatic loss scheduled every year!! Haha jk!! But it would be a loss. Haha.

Vols need to have one good OOC game every year and it needs to be scheduled to help recruiting in different areas of the country. The return on a game vs Va Tech is not good enough for a school that has to recruit nationally.

I don't care who we play, just play at Bristol every 4 years and let them try to outdo the last time they hosted a game each time. It would be a great asset for recruiting.

Same with me. VT does not interest me. I was offered a free ticket to the BoB. I said no thanks, give it to someone else.

Agreed. After two consecutive losses to Oklahoma, it was nice to have VT as our big OOC opponent this year for a bit of a breather, but I generally like the idea of playing the Oklahomas and other big-time national programs more than playing a mid-tier regional ACC school.

Na I like mixing it up (when we're actually good). Off the top of my head, Texas, ND, Cal, Miami, and WVU would be more interesting. I'd really like to play Oregon and Oklahoma again...

Every 3 years sounds about right...gives us a chance to do a home and home series with a big ooc school then VT every third year.

I would also accept a every four year game with them at a neutral stadium Probably wouldn't be BMS or a home and home . Also people saying Virginia Tech isn't good are crazy . They was a perennial top 25 team a few years ago . They will be back to that real soon imo

Just play at Bristol every four years. Bring in a quality opponent from the West Coast. Drop the tickets prices to the same as a game at Neyland. Fill up BMS with 160,000 Vol fans.
