As much as that loss hurt this Saturday, I still say, with every orange fiber I have, GO VOLS! We are making progress, it's just not as fast as everyone wanted. We have the best coaching staff we've had since Fulmer. You stick with your team through the good and the bad. Sticking with them through the bad is what will make the great wins that we WILL HAVE in the future all that much sweeter.

I understand the wanting to win....everybody wants to win....no one wants to lose....I understand everyone saying the same stuff about Dooley rebuilding...played this many freshman....We talking about 2 different coaching styles and quality of players being brought in.....Dooley brought in some good talent but mostly he brought in MAC talent not SEC worthy talent...Dooley's players alot of them were guppys swimming with sharks
Butch Jones is bringing back Tradition that left with Kiffen, bringing in SEC talent...something we have not seen in years...Butch is bringing back heart..something also this program has not seen in years...He is slowly but sure making Tennessee relevant again....If anybody cannot see the fight and will to win in these young men, are not paying attention. The tide is shifting in K-town...The Orange Wave is coming and the other teams know it.....We just have to tell our selves....

Considering we've lost to Florida for 10 years now, we should hypothetically be on our 11th head coaching search.

I used to be like you. If the Vols lost, it ruined my day, week etc, etc. Then I realized in the grand scheme of things, UT Football is pretty insignificant. Do I cheer for them? Sure. If they lose, I still have my family, health and the sun more than likely will still come up tomorrow. My life does not revolve around UT Athletics. That said, GBO.

Pathetic piece of work fans. Seroiusly, if I was the MOD Id ban these losers from the site just for being increibly dumb. Number 1 our defense is playing better than we wouldve expected with a young newer DL. Number 2 if you would open a fact book and read it called the newspaper or internet you wouldnt have expected a 24-10 game with UT winning, you wouldve expected a 21-9 game with FL winning. Its not that I feel like we shouldnt have won !!!after the game!!!, but we had no experience on the most important part of the team coming in to this season, the OL and once again it showed. Vanderbuilt has more experience on the OL than we do. And you expected to beat a FL gator team that hasnt been bad on defense against mediocre teams for a while, and has a really good DLine. Your expectations MADE you vulnerable, and its your fault. Was I upset with UT saturday, HELL YES! But never a quitter have fun rooting for bamma idiots.



If you guys were the players on the Volunteer Team for Butch, youd be the ones quitting the team halfway through the season. You type of people are the ones who making have a turning point in the program incredibly difficult. What if AJ Johnson just stopped trying tomorrow. Heck, I remember a couple years back Arkansas even made it to the SEC championship and that was after losing 4 games.:machgun:

What's the solution? What specific action are you advocating?

Fire Jones? That should do it. Then, we can run off next year's recruiting class in the process. Let's just set the program back another few years in order to satisfy everyone's thirst for a coach's blood.

No matter how bad it gets, no matter how much I detest the playcalling and the OC, I will always be a Vol and give my support.......no matter what. If you are "giving up" at any point, exactly how invested were you ever with this program and this University.

If you're going, then just go. Don't feel the need to grandstand about it. Just shut up, delete the link from your favorites and browsing history, and leave. Why do these self-proclaimed fans feel the need to announce their departure? Are these adults or pre-pubescents?

just drink more before and after games---it makes losses seem not as bad. But, only drink good stuff to avoid more unpleasantries the next day!

B.S!!!!!!!!!!!! Not me! Sure I'm frustrated after losing to the Gators (we were the better team!), but Butch has us on the right path. . .just listening to his presser now.

I would like to see one play though. . .got to have Worley keep the ball on end runs after riding Hurd or however. I think it is open and certainly would give the defense something else to think about!! I don't think it has been called ONE TIME this season!!

Can someone explain the need to announce "you're done" with the team? If, in fact, one is "done," I assume they won't be visiting this site anymore. Why not just quit/leave? Are you guys wanting us to talk you off the ledge or what? I seriously don't understand the point of making a thread about it.

Seriously.
