It's hard to argue with the two weaklings, but ESPN has picked up a Southern Miss game before If I remember correctly. They'll be solid and should walk right through Conference USA with maybe the exception of UCF. Not sure why it wouldn't get picked up considering they will no doubt be shown on ESPN or ESPN2 at some point throughout the season against less stellar opponents than Tennessee. haha

just be glad you're not a fan of a team like Vandy or some other team that might only get 5 or so games on TV a season

I have no choice but to invest in ESPN Gameplan being on the West Coast. Whatever happened to that CSTV channel? Don't they show all the UT games? They show all the UNLV game here:machgun:

I hear rumor there's a STL chapter of UT alumni that watch games together in town. I was told I was on their email list, but I haven't received a message from them yet.

Here's hoping I do, but if I have to watch the game at home on a PPV buyin, so be it.

I know if a game's available, I'm sure as heck watching it, since I missed so many of them last year.

I would encourage all of you to contact your local alum chapter and see if they have viewing parties (don't need to be an alum to go and watch). We did this in AZ and got to see every game since most sports bars will have gameplan. Not only do you get to see the game but you get to watch with others dressed in orange!

Shoot, thank God for PPV. Living far from home, its a blessing (although I still get 7-8 Tennessee games on national TV, even in Texas ).

If you are around the Nashville area, Buffalo Wild Wings shows ever game. I am sure there are other places that show games also.

Remember the days in the early 80s when we would be televised maybe 3-4 times a year tops? It was either network TV or WTBS.

It was usually the Alabama game, maybe the Auburn game and then maybe 1 or 2 more if we were lucky plus whatever bowl game we were playing.

yeah, i remember watching most Bama games every year, but i can even remember a couple of auburn games that were on the radio......

so glad we have what we have now......it's a far cry from where it was, even 15 years ago.

i remember thinking how big of a deal it was to be on TV......ABC game of the week......
