Awesome hearing the passion a freshman has about the way he’s being coached. Especially a freshman big right now that’s probably getting pounded daily by coaches due to the teams need of his immediate productivity.

Love it, I'm telling u all, all-SEC freshmen team. Sometimes, I get a little carried away, but I've been saying this all off-season based on his game, from highlight videos. Now tho, after hearing him speak about wanting to be coach hard (like Banchero said, gives me hope we land him, also), I'm sure of it. This '19 class is loaded, ON, Gaines and even Pember can all play and can do it all. Gaines is so long and will probably have a triple double before he leaves UT. Pember has handles, moves well, passes well and can shoot with mad length/height. ON can do it all, too. 10/6/3 guy, right now. JJJ will figure it out and play like the 5-star, he is. Plus, all 4 look like they have bought in on defense, minus the freshmen mistakes. Man, I really think, if we get Cardwell (Kyle Alexander 2.0) to go along with our three 5-stars, added to the '19 class and Plavsic, it's just a matter of time, with a little luck and that 1at Final 4 is very near. Future looks bright. Despite how bright the future looks, I still expect this year's version of the Vols to make the NCAA Tournament or I will be highly disappointed

I think so too, I think this was possible a top10-15 bunch this year if Plavsic had been eligible. It's gonna take them a few games I think to get over his loss. I think we'll struggle against length and physical teams this year as well. If it's a guards game I like our chances as much as anyone else's, I think Josiah is gonna be a great all around guy who quietly fills up the score sheet, I think he may get a triple double or 2 this year. I agree, this is a tournament team, next year could be preseason #1.

Barring injury kid is gonna play in the league...Barnes doesn’t just toss around compliments but he absolutely gushes about this kid. Add in the mindset he has, passion about the game and willingness to work and that’s a great start...unlike Grant he isn’t at a side disadvantage at the 4, kid is going to be a player.

ORN is going to be a stud. Not sure if he'll breakout this season or next, but when he does we'll have another Grant-esque beloved Vol on our hands. Hopefully he lives up to our self-prescribed hype haha.

Wow! Now that kids GETS IT! Already. And he's a college freshman. Based on what I've read and seen I believe this kid is DEFINITELY in the same framework of Grant Williams. Not trying to put pressure on him and obviously he's got a lot to figure out but CRB and staff will ride that back until he does get it. And when you hear our players being interviewed there's no fill words that make folks sound really stupid. They're coming from good stock with a lot of instruction from their parents. That makes me more proud than the court production!
