Realizing that many on here hate all Knoxville sports talk radio, I still would like to know the answer.

I listen to DMatthews. And, I listen to Butch Jones' win-loss record.

Butch lost 1/2 of his SEC games in 2016. He had a full extra week to prepare for South Car, and still couldn't win against first-year hc Muschamp (their qb had never played against an SEC team, regardless if our qb had some tests, we still had a soph qb who could have come in to pick up the missing pieces resulting from those tests).

I hope some of these new staff-members can help Butch win more than 1/2 of his SEC games this year.

Swain is good for talking about released information. Basilio is good for barber shop gossip. I've heard Ainge is now Jones' mouthpiece.

I wouldn't say he's his mouthpiece, that's too strong, but his strong tendency is to reflexively defend Jones imo, rather than objectively look at both sides of his decisions or both sides of what's going on with the program. That's why I commented last week in a different thread that "even Ainge ripped Jones for his 5 star heart comment".

I think Ainge is really good, even outstanding on the radio. Just gotta know you're not gonna get a lot of objectivity and balance from Erik about our program imo, and that's fine. I still listen to him regularly.

Aural cancer was my none of the above option.

Cancer's a little too extreme for me.
I've had cancer. Not the aural version, but sports radio IS hard on the hears.
I'd rather have a more neutral option.

The fact that Doc and Heather somehow have 2 votes is laughable. The only thing I would trust them with is Lady Vol basketball since Doc is so involved with them. People like to bash Jimmy, but I agree with an earlier poster, he's thorough to a fault sometimes by being "late" with a story, but that at least gives him journalistic integrity. I like Ainge as he can be very informative, but he's such a homer. I mean, once Fulmer's name picked up steam as an AD candidate, he's gone all-in with his support for him. Even though there's another, far more qualified candidate, in UT alum Blackburn.

Ainge is good too
Glad he's back

Witch Doctor know he wasnt on the list but Doug Mathews on 104.5 Sat is closer to the truth without the fluffy gossip...if you pay attention and of course Hubbs

Bones Never Lie.

No Hubbs and no Doug Matthews. Seriously?

By far better than anyone else.

Might as well have put Sabanacchio on there.

Yet he had a 100% winning outside the conference....

gator defensive backs. Other than toasting their ducktruck this season, we havent been able to get open downfield for about a decade.

Of course, they do hold our receivers like its the first slow song at a junior high dance...but whats a little pass interference got to do with it?
