Who does Jimmy Sexton represent?

It seems that this guy represents more coaching talent (perceived and/or proven) than anyone else. Does that give him a monoply of sorts?

Doesn't he represent CPF? Could he go to Phil and say " I'll knock a few basis points off of the ol' management fee if you take Freeze for no less than this amount." It just seems like he can start a war and sell bullets to both sides.

I suppose........and if NCAA players are allowed revenue for use of their images, can he get in on that? That would be a great way to get on the bottom floor with players that have draft potential.

Not that the man needs much help.

Maybe that's the real reason Schiano wasn't placed and Curry was fired. Sexton didn't want them in his sandbox.

And it's not enough to place coaches with huge salaries.......he can double up by having one of his guys fired with a huge buyout and then fill the spot with another.

What a racket. He probably has rabble rousers on every SEC board screaming FAHR (fill in the blank) or WE WANT (fill in the blank).

Jimmy is a very astute business man who has been extremely successful (actually set the standards by which others negotiate). Jimmy comes from a great family and helps tons of other people you will never hear about. He's an easy target for discontented fans I know but he's not the problem....If you know anything about negotiating - the onus is on the ones who agree to said contracts...not the ones requesting it (see the U.S. agreements with countries where we actually benefit zero and oftentimes harm our country). And the reason Jimmy has soooooo many high profile clients? .....they trust him to work in their best interest. Again, its all about perspective!!

Counterpoint. Jimmy Sexton is a no-neck scumbag, who fleeces schools out of money by fabricating interest in his clients to secure unnecessary extensions and raises, that are rarely commensurate with their actual coaching performances.

JS has certainly fleeced many! However as a UT alum, he should stop playing games with our alma mater and help get this right! It ultimately works in his favor to make UT a priority! But it doesn’t seem like he views it that way.

Well then blame the schools for giving out unwarranted and unnecessary extensions/raises.
