Who Does Bryce Brown Remind You Of?

Exactly . . . Instead, you got greedy and the Peter Principle kicked in.

Would it help if I said he reminded me of Randy Watson? Played Joe the Policeman in the "What's Goin' Down" Episode of That's My Momma.

He's also got some Billy "White Shoes" Johnson in him. We weren't just limiting this to running backs were we?

Hell no. It's all about the nicknames. I'm now going with Elroy "Crazy Legs" Hirsch.

There is some proof in being the top recruit in the land. RBs don't get that title very often.

Great observation. This is a list of just the top RB's. Not even the #1 overall player.

2008 Darrell Scott- Colorado
2007 Joe McKnight- USC
2006 Beanie Wells- Ohio Stae
2005 Jonathan Stewart- Oregon
2004 Adrian Peterson- Oklahoma
2003 Reggie Bush- USC
2002 Lorenzo Booker- FSU
2001 Kevin Jones- VT
2000 Willis Mcgahee- Miami

Top RB's per Rivals the past several years. Lot's of NFL talent on that list. Lots of first round NFL talent.

Terrelle Pryor, in how he got UofO fans hopes up, then got them all pissed off even though the rest of the nation knew damn well they didn't have a chance of getting him.

Just because it hasn't been mentioned. Christian Okoyae. Before Steve Atwater hit him...of course...he hasn't been seen since.

He should do well behind that big Oline you got, and with your QBs throwing so effectively, it will loosen up the defenses for him.

Wow, just wow. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited as hell that we got the guy, but the homerism in here is amazing. Comparing a high school kid to some of the greatest to ever play the game... really? He's a talented kid, but making comparisons to Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, and other Hall of Fame players? Let's all take a step back, take a shot of reality, and try this again. Now, that being said, his running style reminds me mostly of Cadillac with a little McFadden thrown in. I can only hope he lives up to those expectations.

NYC on VQ suggested Lane might use Bryce like OU used Demarco Murray in his freshman year. I thought that was an interesting remark.

A sweeter version of Edgerrin James in his prime or a faster version of Ronnie Brown "this kid is wicked in space"
