Who Does Bryce Brown Remind You Of?

LT (when LT was in his prime, not the current injury-prone LT who will retire sooner rather than later).

My comment was not to insinuate that you were less than pleased about him signing, just that rivals has a more conservative projection of his size. And truth be told, I'm concerned that he may be a Reggie Bush type myself, but the truth is we are simply comparing the footage viewed thus far and hoping that there may be a modicum of that same talent within him. And I truly dispise comparing players because no two players are alike. But its all in good fun. No one knows how any recruit will pan out, but its fun to try and guess. In two years, we all could be in here complaining about his lack of production, or we might be projecting his draft position. By no means would I begin to suggest that he's a superstar or that he will singlehandedly turn the Vols around.:)

I watched a lot of the highlight clips from his school & the Army AA game . I keep coming back to the speed, moves, hands coming out of the backfield, and his size, build & he reminds me of Marshall Faulk the most.

I kept seeing him listed at 6'1' and 215lbs and after standing within about 3-4 ft today, I thought those figures seemed at little stretched. I'm not trying to be a "killjoy" I was stating a first hand observation. My intent was not to deminish Bryce at all, I just thought some of the comparisons did not fit his physical size. By the way I wouldn't have attended the press conference if I wasn't hoping he would choose the Vols.

FWIW....He is not 6'1", but I am damb glad he is a VOL:clapping:

How about a Reggie Cobb? He is big, fast, and people just fall off of him. He will have a hard time replacing my favorite, Jonathon Jones, of Mumford, Tennessee!!!!!!

I haven't seen Earl Campbell on the list, so we might as well throw him out there too.

Just so long as he's not a Gator or a Bulldawg, or God forbid a Crimson Bride, he's good by me, but it couldn't be any better than seeing him in the orange and white. Too bad he waited so long, because I would love to see him in spring training, but I guess we'll all just have to wait.:dunno:

I'll throw out a combination of Eric Dickerson and Marcus Allen with the social awareness of Jim Brown.

Did you almost sheet your pants when he pulled out that Miami hat??

I got sick feeling in my stomach when he pulled out the Miami Hat, I had just passed some guys wearing Miami hats in the parking lot who appeared to be with the Brown entourage. So seeing him pull out the Miami hat first about did me in.

Johnny Cochran is somewhere smiling.

You know I got in under the wire there because he had to throw in the whole murder and ensuing trial. I bet JC loves him some Vader right now.

He reminds me of a high school kid with a big ego who hasn't proved anything and needs to shut his mouth and work hard.

There is some proof in being the top recruit in the land. RBs don't get that title very often.
