It is becoming obvious that he has a very tough road to hoe. He seems like a good guy. He's funny and represents us well, but he can't coach a lick. Chaney runs the offense and Wilcox the defense. Dooley is a CEO guy. I get it. He delegates authority. We need more than that though. We need either a defensive or an offensive architect. We have nothing to hang our hat on. I would hire Gus Malzahn or Bobby Petrino. I think Dooley is just delaying the process. I am trying really hard to support him, but we are Zach Rogers. No way a good coach keeps running him out there. Dooley is a little league coach. He's in over his head. I would trade him for any coach in the SEC, maybe even Houston Nutt. It's unbelievable we hired a guy from La. Tech with a losing record. I hate to see us like this. If I saw improvement I would not be saying this, but I don't want to keep starting over. We need a coach who can get this thing on track. Dooley hasn't done anything to suggest he it's the guy. He has lost the players and is losing the fans. He's getting shorter all the time. We need to have a plan in the works. The new AD needs to step up. I believe he will after next season.
(1) Weren't the first several season with Johnny Majors as coach as bleek or worse than we are experiencing now?
(2) We already are paying plenty of former coaches with pay outs, plus Hamilton. How many former coaches do you suggest we continue to keep on our payroll? Do you want to add Dooley,Wilcox & Chaney also?
(3) I thought that less than 2 seasons ago, we tried every name imaginable to get interested in this job oportunity, but none took the bait. Butch Davis, Cowher, Gruden, Lovie Smith, Chris Petersen, Muschamp,
etc. etc. and none of them even came for a visit.
The best we could get was Texas Tech's fired coach.
To us, this is a wonderful job BUT to other coaches, they see an S.E.C. East schedule with USC, UGA, and Florida every season. To add Bama, each season and occasionally L.S.U., Auburn or Arkansas. Then Tennessee is not a hot bed for recruiting. So, to an outsider, this is not a great job.
Let's leave things the way they are. Hart will figure this all out. In the worse case scenerio, Dooley will end up being Mike Shula Jr. and begin building our team, but won't be able to coach. Then Hart will make a homerun hire, like "Bama" did with "Satan" and we will be in business.
The best case scenerio, we will over take USC & UGA in a couple of seasons, then we can play Florida tough and get to an S.E.C. Championship game again. We build on that success and Dooley stays......
Either way, we will be fine!!!!!!!!!
Bullsh it. Name one other BCS team that has lost as much talent to injury and is winning.
My point is 1.5 years into Dooley era and we haven't beaten a team with a winning record. I don't see improvement, we seem to be getting worse.

I understand everything that has happened in the since fulmer left. At the end of the day he has not been getting it done. I realize he will be here probably 2 more years but I dont think he is the answer. That's my opinion. If you don't agree that's fine.
