who do you want for AD (merged)

Bill Byrne or Coach Fulmer would be great fits for the program. The Haslams and Thunder aren't going to bring in anyone they don't know, and they certainly aren't going to place themselves in the limelight as some have suggested (lot easier to pull the strings behind the scenes). Dane would also not surprise me since he is at every athletic function with Thunder.

If they don't give Holloway a phone call it's a serious blow to the integrity of the search. He should be given a serious look. He's qualified, loyal to the program, smart, and I can't think of anybody that has ever said a bad word about the guy..

It wouldn't be any different. Some of you just don't have an understanding of the process and the unlikely availability of some known name.

When you throw the checkbook on the table a LOT of known names take notice...That is something that hasn't been done at UT in a long long time....They kind of did with the Kiffin coaching staff but as you see it wasn't enough...Alabama grabbed Saban because they opened up the checkbook and proved they WANTED HIM to come coach the program...Money talks....Period

Rod Wilks and Chuck Norris will enter the octagon at an undisclosed location in Bucksnort. the survivor will be the new AD.

Oprah. Everybody that attends the Montana game gets a free makeover.

Just to finish the circle of pain on Fulmer.

All the factions would be brought back in...

The guy who I would really enjoy in as AD who is not coming is

Very deep understanding of athletics, very deep understanding of business and contracts.

Any reason this could not have gone into the "Who do you want for AD" thread?

You don't hire a man for AD that ran the football program into the ground.

Exactly! When he was finally canned he had lost complete control of the program. Now people want him to do the same thing to the whole UT sports program. Surely college graduates aren't posting here. Obviously these people must be blinded by the obama-esque infactuation syndrome.
