We have a better chance of beating Alabama or Texas a&m?


Someone I was talking to today said bama because bama has a freshman qb and a&m has the one from Oklahoma who beat us last yr

I personally think we beat them both. I think the team shows up for 4 quarters today and we get Bama at a rocking Neyland stadium.

It was two years ago. 2014 Knight beat us in Norman.

Bamas freshman is a better passer and good runner in his own right.

I would say A&M.

Bama has recruited so well. And they're confident. Well coached.

I have feeling that Tennessee comes out loose and starts strong today.
So I would say we have a better chance of beating Texas A&M.

Trevor Knight was QB at Oklahoma when we played them in Norman. That was half of our teams first road trip and if not for bonehead mistakes that game would've been a lot closer than the score ended up. Knight is not that good throwing the ball and his completion % will back that up but he is quicker than people realize and if he gets loose he can take one to the house. His legs scare me more than anything in this game.

Our best shot today is to beat TAMU....you don't play today to win tomorrow....we pull out all stops and hold nothing back....we play like this is the end of the world

Injuries to key players make will make it difficult the next few games, but, I will be watching every second.

With the news about JRM career being over, it could change the mentality of this team. It may now be bringing emotion into the fray. I dont know. We may beat them both. I think now our best chance to win is today.

A&M is on a newfound hot streak...as are we. Hot streaks can come and go. Bama has been legit for 8 years under the Saban regime. For that factor alone, I think A&M is a better chance for a win. But....we can beat them both.

Nothing new about this streak for aTm. They go 5-0 every year (last few years) only to take a nose dive when they actually play good competition.
