The Coach who should be hired in the event of an opening would be the best candidate available regardless of prior issues - second chances. I say bring in Freeze, if he screws up, then fire his ass. At least we would win significantly more than not.

Still a fan of Matt Campbell. Top 10 team, no 5 stars. Knows how to develop players.

Freeze to me has a lot of baggage and didn't have enough sustained success for me to believe in.

Malzahn wouldn't be a bad hire but I wonder if his time has come and gone.

Think Alabama or Clemson Coordinators could be an option (yes ik how that went last time).

If you think hugh freeze is gonna be the next coach with an investigation going on you’re crazy. I am 110% Matt Campbell because he’s got fire, seems to be a good guy, and he’s proven he can coach even at a place like Iowa state

Some dipshit who has no business coaching in the SEC. Example.....Mullin has no business coaching in this league. He's trying everything possible, but he's a dipshit in the league. He CANNOT win it, NEVER WILL. Period. Will CJP? No. But put it in perspective, neither will Mullin. He's a damn BS coach......you need to fire his ass yesterday. Will he win the East, yeah most years. Will he win the SECG......no never. What's the damn point? They're isn't one. Fire him now......

History tells me they keep him as long as possible (maybe that’s pretty soon) then they hire a no-name dollar bin loser.

Upon further reflection, I have my doubts as to whether Tennessee's leadership (the big $$$ boosters) have the intestinal fortitude to go hire the best available coach. The past three searches have yielded Dooley, Jones and Pruitt. The one they got right was Kiffen - wish he would not have bolted for SC; I'm sure he regrets it also.
