Nico is frustrated because Heupel struggles to recruit high school and transfer portal players, and that’s a fact. Napier and Freeze are far better recruiters than Heupel while on the hot seat. Let’s revisit this after the season. Heupel lived off Pruitt’s talent and now he is going the wrong way. Hell we haven’t had a high school Oline man or Wr pan out yet.

He's already got a 4 million $ offer under the tables he's just playing UT. I'd say he will be playing at USC west coast. I won't go to another game as long as he's on the team.

💯 he struck out on most high school players and I don’t even think they are recruiting the portal. I need someone to explain to me how vitello is recruiting better at a baseball program that has never been good. How is it jolly couldn’t recruit and Kim caldwell has number 1 class? 🤔 but yall say it money, it don’t add up

Culture, their respective systems, and the fact that both coaches reward effort and performance over all else.

The big dollars are still in football and hoops, but this chasing stars and throwing stacks of cash isn’t the end all/be all that everyone seems to think is the key.

What was the class rank of the previous national championship winners in football over the past 20 years? If the funding is primarily allocated to football and basketball, how did Vitello achieve success in baseball at a program that has never been s***.

It’s really that simple. NIL has empowered the players with an extreme shift. These things balance out here the pendulum will swing to the schools’ advantage.

Incentives and under the table deals will happen because there will be schools and coaches without the NIL size to make official deals.

I love how everyone recognizes this is the wild Wild West but also cling to every deal being on the uppity up and above board in the same breath

The problem is trying to enforce those contracts is like calling the police to say someone stole the fentanyl you had mailed to your house.

When a school goes to enforce their multi year or incentive based contracts, the player just goes to the NCAA with the contract.

A contract is only good if it's enforceable without getting your school put on probation.
