Samuel is supposed to be wanting Champ Bailey money, and that's 9 mil a year. Champ's contract only counted about 3.4 mil against the cap this year, but that was because a huge chunk of his signing bonus was counted towards this year's salary. That doesn't mean it would work the same way for Samuel and his desired contract. I just couldn't give that type of money to a guy who has only had 1 or 2 great years. Like warrior said, there are several options at corner, and there has to be a better deal out there. I've heard though, that the titans plan on drafting another CB or 2 in the draft, which may stop them from signing a big named CB in free agency. I hope not, though.
