Besides me? Although I'll be honest, I thought about it...

Other than Maymon getting his legs back some, this is the same team. i'm loving this but the team could have been playing more like this all year. i am still worried about him getting an extension based on the past 3 weeks instead of the past 3 years.

I didn't. Thought it was a bad idea and would further alienate Cheek.

I didn't. He met or exceeded expectations each year and we were on pace to go dancing. Only casual bball fans and those who never liked Martin anyway kept signing.

I'll man up. I did. But I also admitted that I was wrong (not a lot can do that on this board) but I'll stand by saying that the petition is what started this run and lit the fire under their butt.

I didn't. That dumbass petition just provided fodder to sites like SI.com to say 'hey, look at what this TN fanbase did.'

I didn't because it was stupid and wouldn't have made a bit of difference. Had nothing to do with whether or not I wanted Pearl back, because I did.

False stop acting "holier than thou" and acting like you are some basketball god. 1st never hated CCM from day one "hence my name" 2nd I'm not a casual fan.

I didn't. Frankly, I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about because the season wasn't over. In the meanwhile, I wanted to support the coach and the team which is why I went to as many games as I could -- even that poor performance against vandy here in Nashville. But vandy and mizzou at TBA was awesome as was the SEC tournament and now the NCAA.

I didn't and as a UT fan I was embarrassed by it

wow the stupidity of that is amazing

So we just magically started getting better right when the petition and media got a hold of it? It pissed off CCM and the players and you can tell they are playing to prove people wrong. It woke them up and added fuel to the fire. We can all believe what we want I'm not going to call you stupid for not believing it.

It's well past time for you to get off your pedestal. You aren't what you think you are. The criticism of the coaching and the play of the team were valid in many instances. Some of the losses were inexplicable.

I didn't sign it either. Once I saw the petition was authored by Clay Travis that was all I needed to know.

Not me. Not because of the season either.

When Pearl first got in trouble for having a recruit at a bbq, it was a secondary violation. But he lied about it, encouraged the recruit and his family to lie, and involved his staff in the denial of what the NCAA already had photo proof of. That turned me against him forever as a coach of young men at UT.

He brought sanctions and shame on UT by the weakness of his moral compass in that regard.

Forgiveness? Yes. But in my book you never ever put a man who committed those wrongs while receiving a huge salary as a person of authority over youth back in the same position. It is just not done.

The "petition" would never have accomplished it's stated purpose to BBB if Zo were no longer coach. Those in authority over the AD would not have allowed it even if Hart were to consider it. Too many feel as I who don't post on message boards but have great influence through their checkbooks. No, Pearl the liar would never coach here again.
