Who did we lose?

Don't pay attention to the stars...look at their numerical rating. We have a ton of recruits who are 0.1 away from a 4* rating.

Is that like saying we're all about .08 away from being legally drunk? I mean...not ALL of us, I'd say some are heading well past that

This class has the potential to be the weakest class since someone started the system of ranking classes.

Guess it is a lot like ranking posters; some are great; some are good; some are sorry; and some would do us all a favor by finding a team they can get excited about so we would not constantly have the clouds blocking the sunshine we need so badly.

I am convinced this coaching staff knows more than all the posters on this site combined. They know the needs, and they see first-hand, the abilities and personalities of those they are recruiting. After all, they don't have the luxury of second guessing. Their jobs and futures are on the line with each decision. Posters may get slammed, but they can remain basically anonymous, spewing out all the negative and second guessing they want without penalty.

Think I will trust Coach Jones and his coaches.

I have no worries that CBJ and staff will have us where we need to be. There will be plenty of recruits wanting to play for Tennessee come NSD. Hang in there guys.

Don't mean to be wearing the orange goggles but I agree. Very optimistic. I think bUTch and the staff will get it done. This class may not be optimal but I believe '14 will be money

Everyone settle down. Out of the remaining recruits that we are going after, (those uncommitted or with the Vols in their final selection) we have a great shot at signing quality players.

We still have 7+ recruits rated 4 stars or above with the Vols in their final selection and 8+ recruits with 3 stars.

I am in finance, and such we run bear and bull case scenarios all the time. My bear (worst) case scenario leaves us where we currently stand ranked 45 in Rivals. My Bull (best) case would put us at 7th. My base (realistic) scenario puts us currently around 15th.

If anyone would like to see what i am basing these scenarios on please let me know. I am happy to share.

Everyone else, please RELAX and CHILL. The VOLS will be fine come NSD.

I like Butch going after the "big fish". But I would think that he has lined up some lower ranked kids to fill the class. There is always some last minute pick ups that can be reeled in even after NSD. I would rather aim high and miss some than go after the easy ones early.

I was talking about this earlier. Kenny Bynum as example. I was trying to remember who had visited either at start of Jones or sometime during previous staff that we could turn to if miss on a couple?

We don't have to get everybody by NSD. In the past, we have gotten a few more, later on, when a new staff has had a bit more time to let the dust settle.

The list of schools in front of us makes me very, very sad. I can't see us signing a full class at this point.
