Who did we lose?

Checked rivals and now we're down to 16 recruits. Losing Skipper yesterday put us at 17 so apparently we lost someone today.

Not gonna even remotely happen. If some of these big fish choose other schools, which will probably happen, not only will we not sign a full class, but we will end up with one of the weakest signing classes in a VERY long time... Can someone find out when the last time it was that we didn't even come close to signing a full class? it would be interesting to know.... :ermm:

I have no worries that CBJ and staff will have us where we need to be. There will be plenty of recruits wanting to play for Tennessee come NSD. Hang in there guys.

Per Rivals, in 2008, we signed 18 and were ranked 35th in the country, 8th in the SEC, although in the current SEC, we would have been 10th.

I like Butch going after the "big fish". But I would think that he has lined up some lower ranked kids to fill the class. There is always some last minute pick ups that can be reeled in even after NSD. I would rather aim high and miss some than go after the easy ones early.

Not necessarily; There will still be some recruits that will not sign on NSD. There may be 2-3 of those that will be worth considering. If they sign the quality position players they want, getting a full class may not be that critical. :clap:

rivals doesn't have joe sanders,devaun swafford or chongo kondolo listed.sanders isn't listed in the thread post in the recruiting forum under the current commits/targets board by oci.

I trust Butch has it all under control. We don't necessarily need to fill a full class too.

Quality over Quantity.

Yeah, it has the potential to be...if we don't add anyone else. However, it appears that we lead for Bell and North (per Fortenberry). We're also likely to land Kondolo and Miller. We're also still in it for Lawson, Bellamy, Dobbs, Ford and probably a few others I'm forgetting or we don't know about. Adding Bell and North only shoots this class up to top 25. Throw in Kondolo, Miller and just one other of the guys I mentioned, it will likely be a top 20 class.

That's not a bad class at all I don't think. We have to wait and see what happens of course. Judging by where we are as a program, you would think that this SHOULD be when we have our worst class. I mean, have we been lower as a program than right now? Being in the position we are with some of these guys shows the work that CBJ and staff have put in.

have a shot at Levenberry as well.
