Who are your favorite sports writers?

I'd like to read some good sports articles to get me through my withdrawals.
as a former sportswriter i'd have to steer you to the athletic
most of the writers who've made "names" for themselves today are commentators or good for hits and tv ratings.
i grew up in ET reading tom siler, ben byrd and marvin west.
check out Sports Illustrated from in 50s, 60s and 70s for some of the best wring in past 70 years

Sportswriters are an enemy of the people and belong in jail. Look at what John Adams is allowed to do. If I were mayor of Knoxville I would have sent the sheriff to arrest him years ago.
