Who are you rooting for in the CFP?

ASU.

And FWIW, I have a friend who played at one of the old Pac 12 schools. He said Oregon fans were the most obnoxious he had encountered, a sentiment I've heard repeated by many others on the West Coast.

The CFP is dead to me now. The only team I'm rooting for is the University of Tennessee men's basketball team by God.

College football can go F itself until they fix this seeding problem.

This 1000%.

Penn State playing a G5 team while the two teams that beat them have to play each other? Yeah, nice job, "committee".

People talking like this are the ones who basically claimed the cfp should have mostly sec teams.

Yep. And PSU playing a G5 team that’s seeded ABOVE them…..

Just seed based off the rankings and TN (and us) are likely still giddy over our home win over SMU and looking forward to getting UGA on a neutral site with their backup QB. How awesome would the CFP be then?

I know you're obsessed with ripping the SEC, but that isn't the point. If they had simply seeded the teams as they were ranked (as f***ked up as that may have been), at least you would have had an event where the best teams got the draws they earned. Why should Ohio State and Oregon beat each others' brains in while the team they both beat gets a free ride into the semis? What possible sense does that make?

lol. Yea I’m obsessed and you still try to find away to disparage what you deem “weaker” conferences…sorry you can’t tout the sec superiority nonsense anymore.

I'm disparaging nothing but a ridiculously set up bracket that rewarded teams that lost their CCG's and penalized the #1 unbeaten team in the country. You just can't get past your bizarre hard on for the SEC.

Somebody posted here that he said on a radio program he was giving the Oregon athletic department $1B to ensure they remained competitive. If that's true it only yielded 4% per year they would have $40,000,000 per year to use and never touch the principal.
That is insane. I don’t really like where the sport is going unless there are some rules and guidelines to be put in place.

Honestly, the only school left that I do not have a rather pronounced dislike for would be Arizona State. The Sun Devils are just kind of "there" for me, I don't care one way or the other

Since they basically have no chance I have little to no rooting interest this year. I will still watch-because it's football but don't really care

Texas, ND, OSU, PSU. Probably my worst nightmare. They've been at top of my least favorite list for a long long time. I think I'll just focus on NFL now (and hoops and Ovechkin). I actually like that league a lot better than college now. I would never have said that before NIL/portal era started.

Out of the teams left, I guess I’ll pull for Ohio State. Honestly I hate every team left in the playoff. I could probably stomach Ohio State or Notre Dame winning more so than Penn State or Texas.

I’m so glad Georgia lost!! Those barking idiots are unbearable here when they’re winning. I know they beat us, but it’s so great to watch them lose and know the Gumps and Puppies won’t be national champions. Now if only Ohio State can lose to.

Now that ASU is out, I’m pulling for chaos, mayhem and carnage. Hoping for ugly, ugly football replete with fumbles, dropped passes, doinked field goal attempts, poor blocking, worse tackling, exasperatingly poor officiating and low scoring games.
