Even though Ingram/Richardson are one hell of a one two punch, I think I am more worried about stopping Jones. Just because of how we have been burned in the secondary a lot this season. Ingram or Richardson neither one have rushed over 63 yards over the last three games. I think Jones is going to be a horrible matchup problem for us.

alot easier to stop one receiver..bump and run with saftey help. two great rbs is alot tougher, especially with a very thin dline

Hanks & Maze have had better hands than Julio this year. They have just not had the same number of touches. I think they will get more thrown to them Saturday. UT's rush defense has not been great this year. I think you have to load the box and hope for dropped passes by our WRs & no missed tackles on our backs.

I think Ingram/Richardson is the biggest concern even if Jones was 100% healthy. With Jones having the broke hand, I'm not sure he is as big of a concern as he'd normally be either. He didn't have much of an impact in his first game with the broke hand.

The running backs. If we stop them we have a slight chance. I don't think we have the depth or back ups to hold up the whole game. If bama runs 30 or more running plays we are in for a long day. Do we have some extra offensive linemen we can put in the middle on defense for this game? GBO!!!

Ingram/Richardson
If we don't stop them then that means we are getting punished up front. This means that the later the game gets, the better their rushes get. The better their rushes get, the better Julio Jones will get. Simple if/then statement - somehow stop the run - we have a chance?

The backs. If they run the ball well, they keep possession for 40 min+. With our defense on the field that long, and our offense (which isn't the best) with the ball less than 20 min, I don't like our chances.

I just hope we're in the game long enough to have to worry about these guys even through the 4th quarter.

UT-

Offensively

Simms/Bray- Getting off to a good stat is a must im concerned this is going to go the way the Phils experiment went a few years back..
Cooper- Picking up hightower is IMO key to getting some kind of running game going
Who ever is in front of Dareus (sp?)- The man just needs a Double team.

Bama-

McElroy- If he let him sit back all day he lights us up for a huge day
Richardson/Ingram (In that order)- I think we can somewhat contain the run. Passes out of the backfield are what scare me.
Maze (PR right?), Julio (In that order)- Some will go to Julio but Maze will get the majority of the catches.

Defensively

UT-

Art, Eric, and Janzen- Jam, and force to the middle. Janzen- take 'em out early after all this isnt the NFL
Nick- Tackle
D-Line- Please please please create some sort of pass rush. we need to see it and you need to do it.

Bama-

Dareus- He's a terror. Im concerned he will be in the back field more then 50% of the day.
Hightower- Whether he's up or down he's a top ten pick Simms/Bray must know exactly where he is each and every down.

Wilcox can earn his paycheck for the year in this game. Be aggressive and blitz all night long .

I'm worried about their entire offense.

If Wilcox has anything left in his bag of tricks then he needs to bring it this game. The problem with Alabama is that they're a balanced offense. Limits what you can do defensively, unless you have a very good defensive line which Tennessee doesn't. Maybe they can get creative with some blitz schemes. Make them work the whole field, not giving them short fields would help a little.

ingram / richardson are the key---ut has to slow them down somehow. If not, it's lights out, game over early.
