Just let me know where you are going to be. I'm probably going to spend 30 minutes or so at each tailgate BSing with as many people as possible. I also want to check out the first Vol Walk of the Kiffin Era.

Sounds good man. I'd like to meet anyone that would like to come stop by. It is going to be a nice family atmosphere with good food, some cornhole, toss some football, and whatever. We are making it so early because we are going to get packed up in time to witness Kiffin's first VOL walk!

I've never really tailgated before but think the experience would be awesome. What usually goes on? How do you know if the tailgate is open? Go big orange!

They're all pretty much "open". I've walked up to plenty, at home and away games, and have never been told I wasn't welcome.

What goes on? Depends on what you're into. normally foods cooking, drinks are being had, talk some football, listen to Rocky Top, if there's tv's then you're watching gameday or some of the games that are on before ours, toss the football, tailgating games like cornhole, ladders...if you're at ours, there's usually some other tailgating games going on...like flip cup & beer pong

I'm hoping to. My brother is a chef (and needs a good gig if any Knoxville restaurant owners are out there) and I'm trying to talk him into whipping up something for a tailgate breakfast. We're definitely going to be going to the Vol walk, too. We got parking passes this year- I think in G 10.

Probably Sab, cuz I like him better than you...

Vol walk is a must. Probably will be the most packed 'early' Vol walk ever...

Yeah this Vol Walk should be slammed, can't wait! I always catch the Vol Walk then head down where the visitor's bus comes in and the fans are gathered, get in the middle of them all, and "welcome them to Knoxville" a little bit. :)

And why would I pay 20 bucks to tailgate with no food and I have to bring the beer? I am guessing that was a joke?

I will be around, my relative usually have a tailgate shindig in front of the parking garage by TB.

Aside from the game, that's my number one priority. I cannot WAIT to see the coaches faces, and the freshmen!!!! Can you imagine what it's gonna be like for them?? :dance2:

Does anyone know if it is possible to do any tailgating at or in the Lake Avenue garage? That is where my parking pass is this year.

There isn't a ton of room in there but it is your standard parking garage. You can definitely still have a great time!
