Eh, I'm secure in my "fanhood" not to let Vol Nation rock me for taking the Saturday after Thanksgiving off. Went to my first game when I was two, seen the Vols play in 9/12 SEC stadiums(Katrina ruined my LSU trip), and go to all the home games plus one or two away games every year.

I get to don the orange and white on the couch this year, but props to everyone who represents us in Lexington!

It's not that you're not going; it's that you're not going for leftover turkey sandwiches. Pretty flaccid.

Any good bars near the stadium to watch some of the earlier games and have some drinks before our game?

My first trip to a Tn/Ky game was in 1967 (I think) and it was at the old Stoll Field. I was in college and wearing a button that said "number two, hell!". That was a very close game but we pulled it out at the end. Best I remember, Carl Johnson was playing at the time.
We have been 3 or 4 times to the new stadium and parking is easy compared to Knoxville. I live close to Middlesboro, Ky so it's a very easy drive. HOWEVER, it can get colder thatn a witch's **ttie up there so takes plenty of clothes and "antifreeze"..lol. Being in Ky a lot, take it from me...they HATE Tennessee...and it hurts them sooooooobad when they lose to us every year..I simply love it!!!!!!! lol

Parking is around the stadium. You can get a spot for $10 or $15 dollars. I usually park somewhere around Central Baptist Hospital and walk from there. It is a flat hike from anywhere, so it is not that bad.

The aren't any great sports bars in Lex, really. Your best bet due to proximity and the shear TV volume is probably BDubs off of Harrodsburg Road. There are a couple of other dives, but nothing to write home about.

Tickets may be a little harder to come by, but should be readily available before kickoff. One thing to keep in mind though...scapling is illegal in Lexington, so buy your tickets away from the stadium. They have been known to fill paddywagons on game day around here.

I have a former college teammate who was one of Lexington's Finest for a few years. Said he always thought it was a joke them having to arrest people for scalping.

Go to Lexington every time the Vols visit. Only an hour and half drive. Question for you guys though...I always end up being 2 specs in an all blue section. Would like to get seats in the UT section. Do you guys have any idea on what section I need to be looking at? Thanks

I will be there and I will be LOUD!!! I have had to endure all these fairweather Cats fans crow about how they're gonna whip us this year since last years' game ended! B.S.! Anyway, my brother and some friends of ours are coming up from Atlanta to cheer on our Vols! Go UT!:clapping:

Lexington news forecast tonight said partly sunny, mid 40's for the high and 29 as the low for Saturday. The partly sunny part won't do much good except for tailgating.

I'll be there never been to kentucky. Coming up Friday there will be 14 of us. We are renting a limo to take to the game so no one has to be the designated driver. We are in sect 218. GO VOLS!

I'll be there. I made sure I got my tickets from the UT allotment this year. I had to sit in KY section two years ago. Fans weren't too bad but I felt I was missing the party each time I looked over at the orange in the corner.

By the way, when people say it is cold up there, believe it. By the end of that game two years ago, I don't ever remember being colder. Brrrrr.

I will be there. Been there many times. Bring lots of Bourbon and a good Banket. It's always cold there.

Quick question. If the Wildcats do the Wildcat will they have a Wildcat with two heads?
