I never have before, but I think this year I will.

If things go well, I will be way too hype to be in the office.

If things go bad, I will be way too surly to be around coworkers.

Either way, it makes sense to take the day off.

I wish there was a way to make it the day after the super bowl, because the day after the super bowl should be a national holiday anyway.

Meh. The news is the same the next day as it is the day of. I did used to get the Nashville Banner before the Tennessean. I will check online a couple of times. Not/ never worthy of a vacation day IMO.

There is no way that I will be in any of my classes on NSD. I would just be on my phone watching ESPN coverage anyways.

And with all of these recruiting battles for alot of these top athletes seemingly coming down to one day, it would be hard for anyone to miss!

I take the am off until after lunch. It's a lot of fun to watch announcements and hang out with fellow fans as well as track the fax machine. Most of the action is over by early afternoon so I don't take the whole day off. Hopefully this year will be a lot more fun than last!

I unfortunately took a "day" for the Kiffin class(believing the hype) and just got behind a day at work ! Lose Lose, then realized my age and status and grew the f#ck up a little more. (NSD at UT has grown me as a person)....learn to deal with failure.

I've never really got much work done on NSD.

I think this year I am planning to give my test that day just so I can keep up with the commitments lol

I hate it when NSD falls on a Wednesday. Just something about that....last....couple....of days to drag out the suspense. I'll be home all day to watch everything.....being retired & all. :)

My wife's birthday is on the sixth so I probably wouldn't be able to devote the needed analysis time...she's the same at NFL draft time...sheesh...needy females

You really dont have to anymore.

Ipad, iphone, ESPN3 and all the mobile sites, you will have as much access from the out in these streets as you would sitting on your couch
