i dont know if there is another thread on this or not, but i was wondering who all from VN is going.

asked a couple of my friends if they wanted to go with me, and they replied "no, what am i a loser?"
sigh.

welp, anyways, count me in, that's 1

Sounds like fun to me, unless of course you stay up all night and oversleep the whole event... :)

Way too many people this year for me to go get autographs and a picture with Smokey.

Waking up and drinking coffee now,just to get ready for the drive.I don't know about the autograph thing,it just depends on the lines.But rest assured that camera will be in hand.Plus the tee and poster will be sweet.:yes:

Good turnout here. The Berry line is huge but I left the wife to hold my spot and will get the coaches first.

Be sure bring sunscreen!

Great crowd! Got LK to sign my hat. Lots of people lining the streets for the vol walk. Got my curbside set in front of Gate 21.

Had my tickets.....hotel room booked.....son gets sick and had to have tonsils and adenoids out and tubes put in....cancelled room....tickets still in envelope.....

Hey, at least I've been sitting and eating ice cream for days....

Hope your son has a speedy recovery risk mgt. there is a big turnout today. They are 2-3 deep for the vol walk. A bunch have already gone inside.

Get the smaller Vol fan back to good shape. You can always get this way this fall.

Did anyone else think it was a huge cluster $%^$ ? I knew going in the Eric Berry's line was gonna be long but, it looked like a dragon wound half way around haslam field in no certain direction. People were cutting in line, and I dont blame them you couldnt even tell were the line started. As soon as Eric came out people just rushed him .It got so bad they had to get him a table to stand behind just to keep people off him.


The coaches line was just as bad if not worse the
assistants were 10 mins late including Monte and coach O. There was only 80 mins left when they started signing. It was so bad you couldnt even tell which line you were in,I thought i was in lane's turned out i was in the assistants line. Then to beat it all Monte and coach O left after about 30 mins and left people that had been waiting well over an hour hanging. I thought it was wrong of them to do that.

I feel you pain I stood in line For CLK for over 2.5 hrs and just made it by 5 or 10 Min's.They could have signed for 5 times as long and there would have been leftovers.At least 10,000 thousand on the field.The in and out flow.More.

When did Orgeron show up? My dad was like 20th in line for the assistant coaches, and said that Monte told him Orgeron was too busy recruiting to come.

My Fan day experience was a complete disaster. I got there at 10:30 to get Monte and Coach O's autograph. Like somebody said earlier the coaches came out late, and left early. I can understand Coach O leaving early, I have no problem with that. He had to tend to the recurits there. My problem came with Monte, when were about to get up there Monte gets up and leaves and does not come back. He stayed all of 20 min, and when he was out there it looked like he was pissed at the world, he did not want to be there and it looked like he hated his life right then. I was not a happy person. They could have taken a couple of hours out of their day to sigh some autographs, I was not asking him to donate his liver to me, all I wanted was his autograph. Also while he was doing his signing he could have at least looked like he was enjoying it, did not crack a smile until some blonde came over and hugged him and then after that it was back to being pissed. Also I looked over at Lane and he was pissed off also. The only person he was talking to was his big body guard. I dont know if Lane knows what Tennessee football is to us, I think he may have found out but before yesterday I dont think he knew what it meant to us.

i happen to be standing next to west gat to haslam were the d was and just happen to catch ceo on is way in or out. he was saying that he felt bad for not staying to long bit duty calls. had about 12 recruits visiting but couldn't say who they were

I had an awesome day at Haslem. I stood for an hour and half before I finally got Berry's autograph. Then with about 15 minutes, it seemed like all the players started going out into the crowd to sign more so I just started running up to every big name player I could find. I ended up with autographs from Toney Williams, Poole, Hardesty, Walker, Martin, Chris Donald, Lathers, and MCCOY. I got autos from Hancock, Nukeese, and Warren after the game. Great day for me...

I got Inky Johnson's auto. It made the hole wait worth it, hes a real Vol if their ever was one.

I was just reading all these posts about people having terrible days at Haslem. I was just letting everyone know that it was possible to have a good time...:good!:
