Milroe is the better runner and has a very strong arm, but his interceptions are killers.

Milton has a cannon as we all know, but is back to struggling with with consistency, yet he’s still not throwing to the other team.

For me, I’m picking Milton.

Milton can throw it 90 yards but he only throws 2 yard hitches and inaccurate routine throws. Milroe played a top team tonight but ask yourself how bad they would’ve beaten Austin Peay and if Milroe would’ve been handcuffed in doing so.
Milroe should have been handcuffed

I want so badly to root for Joe
I mean I’m rooting for him. All in all he’s an exceptional human being and teammate. He’s just so damn inconsistent that it makes you want to pull your hair out.

It is somewhat possible that this vanilla neutered offense was part of the issue with why he played somewhat lackluster. Florida will have some scripted series to get him into a rhythm then you hope his natural talent takes over. Milton has all the tools but you have to put him into a good place mentally I think to get the most out of him.

You’ll be calling for Gaston and LeFou after Nico throws his first interception next season.
I like Milton, but Nico has more developmental upside at this point. Milton's made some strides, but has he made enough of them? He's still lacking touch on the ball & spotty accuracy. How much more growth can he make at this point as a 6th year senior? If he hasn't made those steps after spending 2+ years with Heupel, I have a hard time seeing that he will.

I say Nico with tongue in cheek but if he were to play now & were to make those mistakes, he'd be able to learn from them so that he isn't as likely to make those mistakes in the future & shorten the learning curve.

I'll take Nico, the Texas qb, Rattler and most of the other qb's in the sec over both of them.

If Heupel feels Nico is too “green” then he might need to try Gaston Moore for a series or two against Florida if the offense isn’t clicking. He looked like a legit QB in the spring game which is worth little to nothing.
