Has Tee Martin been officially contacted? His name was thrown around a couple days ago, but did they ever actually talk to him like they did Gundy and Brohm?

Regardless, all of these people they have talked to since Schiano have still been better than Schiano. That's a good enough reason to fire Currie as soon as this search is over.

Not sure after the outrage over the Schiano hire how you go out and get Dave Doeren. He is actually a worse hire than Schiano. I would much rather have Jeff Brohm, Tee Martin, or Chad Morris.

people should have been done with Ut "monetarily" four freaking years ago. As sure as night follows day season ticket sales will be just great and we can watch more crap. Fans, get off of Twitter, grow a spine, and put your money where your mouth is!

Doeren is in contract negotiations that have stalled with his current employer (NC State). He did a decent job this year but could have done more with the talent he had.
I don't believe he is the best out there for UT.

I agree he's a much worse football coach than Schiano, but at least he isn't a Sandusky/Paterno protege.

But I thought the outrage was supposedly over the PSU issue. So which is it?

I think we all know. Hardly no one wanted Schiano and used a flimsy unsubstantiated PSU excuse to torpedo the hire thinking we'd get a better coach. But as many predicted, we'll end up with a worse coach than Schiano's.

Where is the outcry from his supporters, not the media, his former players etc.
Why is A & M not courting him?
