no way do I believe he simply got out to inspect the damage. Regardless, he had a couple of choices and chose to expose himself and his family to the possibility of violence. IMO that's always the wrong choice when there's another option.

and just so we're clear, I've never excused the actions of the teens involved. I just think there were bad decisions all around that resulted in people getting hurt

I think people honk way too much. I save it for when I'm about to scream at the top of my lungs.

I miss driving in the south. I'd hear one, maybe two honks a day. The farther West you go, the more impatient and idiotic the drivers become.

when I was waiting tables in Knoxville I had a cook ask me for a ride home one night. We got close and he said he was going to jump out and I shouldn't stop for anyone until I got back to the freeway. I knew what he meant and I did as told. Now, had I ignored his advice and something happened then that would have been a mistake on my part. It would not have removed responsibility from anyone else though. People can make bad decisions and still not be responsible for the actions of others

it's not illegal for me to profile anyone. A cop pulling someone over simply because of their skin color is completely different

Listen, I've seen these sort of occurrences before on a regular basis. I guarantee you it was because this family wasn't driving a Cutlass.

If the victims were driving a caddy, infinity, bugatti, or mercedes... it would not have mattered if the family were white, black, green or purple.

Poor people hate rich people. If there's a chance where the latter antagonizes the former, it's merely an opportunity to stick it to them

Send em all back to Africa, so Mav can finally work up the courage to leave his house(more of a shed really) and go get chicken at his favorite country buffet. Ever since those dern blacks got all uppity about their freedom and started using white folks establishments he could never make it out the front yard. :)

you are absolutely saying that the guy incited violent activity, which is stupid as hell. This has nothing to do me. Your common sense is on par with his, particularly in running mental hurdles to try and pin this on a guy for doing absolutely nothing wrong.
