Quit making it about the driver. Regardless if he honked the problem was started when the teenagers kicked his car which was obviously unnecessary which directly led to him getting out and inspecting the damage and thus getting jumped.
no way do I believe he simply got out to inspect the damage. Regardless, he had a couple of choices and chose to expose himself and his family to the possibility of violence. IMO that's always the wrong choice when there's another option.
and just so we're clear, I've never excused the actions of the teens involved. I just think there were bad decisions all around that resulted in people getting hurt
And don't give me any drivel about he shouldn't have honked his horn. It's his car and he can honk at whoever he damn well pleases.
