Well now. What shall we wear?

When Tennessee football hits the road to play Mississippi State this season, the Vols are going to be walking into a ‘White Out’ at Davis Wade Stadium. The Bulldogs will ask fans in attendance to wear all white while the team wears white uniforms with a white helmet featuring the interlocking ‘MSU’ logo and maroon facemask.

The Vols had worn orange jerseys on the road since the days of Gen. Bob Neyland, with three notable exceptions, all losses, all with the Vols wearing white jerseys. Those came in the 1953 Cotton Bowl against Texas, the 1963 Alabama game at Legion Field, and the 1969 Cotton Bowl, also against Texas.

We don’t play well on the road, but Miss State is just so, so, so terrible. Limit turnovers and we steamroll them.
We thought that vs Arky too. They have a really nice QB in Blake Shapen, who's played well in a power 4 conference. Dude just can't stay healthy. Not saying they will be great or even beat us , but this is the type game CJH has lost the last 3 years. Hell, Miss St was within 9 last year with 4 minutes left in the 3rd. I really hope we finally break that bad road loss streak we've got going.
