Man I am hoping we can get a whole new line of awesome uniforms. We really need to update get 2-3 more options besides white or orange.
Heupel already said he’s players first and look good, play good. We are going to see some nice unis the next few seasons. So much more we can do with the orange. Old ppl need not comment. Lol

It actually makes the athlete turn in slightly based on which leg is selected. The compression compensates for the natural slope of the field, helps the athlete run quicker, sharper routes

Serious, or does The Onion have a sports page?

I'm not surprised that athletes would be thinking on that granular a level how to gain an advantage (or that compression tights manufacturers would be touting their product that way). But on a crowned field, and with the offense switching directions each quarter, compression to gain advantage in one lateral direction would only give the DB information on which side he could "cheat," i.e., where to position himself relative to the receiver depending on the side (slope) of the field.

Scouting Report for opponents:
According to information gleaned from a member of the UT golf team at a frat party, Shield-Watkins field tends to break slightly toward the river. Always know where your are in relation to the Vol Navy!

Question for those who might know. What is the significance of the one legged tights. Or the one sock pulled up. Or the eye black on only one side? I used to think it was gang affiliation a long time ago but seems like an awful lot of people do it and, as a cop in a pretty bad city, I don’t see gang members representing like that much anymore, if at all. Is there another reason? And, if there isn’t, why would a coach allow gang representation while in uniform?

Kids think it’s cool sometimes.

LL Cool J used to wear one leg of his sweatpants that way back in the day.

A.I. started wearing one sleeve at Georgetown in the late 90s.

What’s old is new again!

The Vols can switch to white cleats but Reno Hightower is still not walking through that door.

Bring it on with white jerseys and orange pants on the road!
