For some reason Joey Kent sticks out in my mind. I was about 7 years old when he and Peyton were teaming up for td's and they are just the players that stick out on those first teams that I can remember. But lets be serious there has been so many great players at this university its hard to pick one. . . Let me add on the defensive side of the ball BIG JOHN HENDERSON!! I loved watching him own opposing O-lines.

Chuck Webb or Travis Henry.

I miss those neck breaking stiff arms that TH would do.

I miss Chrs Lofton the most. Last year's team would have been in the Final Four had Lofton still been a Vol.

Manning...even though he was frustrating against Florida and the loss to Memphis was ridiculous. Also Henry and Price. I think in the near future Eric Berry will be the most missed though!

Al Wilson, Jay Graham, Jason Witten (although we didn't use him as much as we should have), and the Big Cheeeeeese Travis Henry

Charlie Garner. Loved watching him play. Still remember him scoring a td and the way he glided into the endzone spun and gave the patent "x" symbol. Disregard the 15 yard penalty that followed. Chuck Webb was and always will be the best rb at UT, but I enjoyed watching Garner more

Enlighten some of us below 35 please.:hi:

Haha, Im only 23. Pickens(Murphy) and Shuler(Swain) went to rival high schools in Western North Carolina and when Heath signed with Tennessee Pickens left early because he said that he wouldn't catch a pass from anyone who played at Swain Co. high school.

I miss Casey Clausen. He was very underrated and was a true road warrior. The name Iceman was true because he stayed cold under pressure. Thoughts?

Dale Carter.. Berry in same mold.. on either, anticipation and excitement anytime the ball was near either was something I felt with no other Tennessee players in the years I've watched Tennessee..

I went to Swain years ago and knew the whole Shuler family personally... That sounds like a bit of an embellishment concerning Pickens.

Pickens didn't like Swain and had very good reasons to be honest... but I know for a fact that he had good relationships with several athletes from there.
